Love how a higher refresh rate = a brighter picture if you took the images at face value.

Wondering what peoples thoughts are for a 45" ultrawide at this resolution? pixel density seems really low to me, this monitor is about 82 pixels per inch

    Typical examples for comparison:
    3440x1440 34 inch ultrawide is 109 ppi
    2560x1440 27 inch 2k monitor is 108 ppi
    2560x1440 32 inch 2k monitor is 91 ppi
    1920x1080 24 inch monitor is 91 ppi

109 ppi is widely considered as a sweet spot for monitors on a desk you are sat in front of, you are much further away from TV's usually so cant compare those.

I personally think they missed the mark with this monitor, should have gone with a 34 inch or upped the res to 3800x1600 that is more suited to 38 inch screens giving a ppi of 108 which is again in the sweet spot range.

There is an argument that driving higher res is of course more costly but surly that's down to the users preference and rig.

would love to hear peoples thoughts on this

agree on this topic, but 240hz OLED and the resolution would be for gamers which is fine.

    It's a bendable 45" display.

It's been this price on ebuyer for a little while now.. so if you miss/don't have prime, have a look there!

I personally wished they went 120hz and massively upped the res! I do design and need a flat monitor (and high res) but would love to be able to curve it a bit when playing the odd games. Hopefully more will follow and the price will be lower by then
