How does this compare with MyProtein isolate?
    alexc100's avatar
This is a blend rather than pure isolate which means that it contains some lactose and is less refined. On the macro side, this is 81% protein versus 86-90% (depending on flavour) for MyProtein Isolate. Carbs are about equal but fat and sat fat is 20x higher in the Bulk blend compared to MyProtein isolate. This is a good deal for what it is although if you can’t stomach normal whey like me then you’re better off paying a bit more for pure isolate. It’s about £100 for 5kg at the mo with the code ‘beast’

you probably need the added digestive enzymes to digest all the sweeteners, emulsifiers and wheat!

I'm on this at the moment from the last Amazon deal. I had to break up the ruby chocolate and apple and custard from Myprotein, which doesn't taste great. BULK is loads better, and this stuff tastes great. It has a higher protein percentage per gram and tastes great, too.

Why is this being down voted?
    ade457's avatar
Probably because it’s a blend and not pure isolate , which should be reflected in the title to be fair. If it had been pure isolate I would have been all over this 🤷🏻‍♂️ (edited)

Cracking price. 81 percent protein with 65percent being isolate and the rest WPC . Very good blend . Great for PWO.

So in the name it is a WHEY ISOLATE /i.e. at least 90% protein/ and then in the description it says 65% isolate and 35% concentrate /concentrate is 70-80%/ protein. Marketing lie. Good price. (edited)

Seems good. I prefer proteins with low carb / sugars and this seems good but I've literally got 20+ 2kg bags to work through.

Chocolate flavour is the deal breaker though

Well order never arrived and a new date of the 24th August was given. I have just received a cancellation email from Amazon to advise they couldn't source and fulfil the order. They have had my money all this time though:(
