    These are garbage.
Best set I've had have been the all plastic type. These just sag where the fibreboard slowly absorbs and moisture from the air.

I usually put total price as delivery cost is part of the total price, but admin have changed the rules recently and only want the cost and delivery identified separately.

Personally I don't think people should worry too much about how accurate the weight capacity is. If you consider the footprint and available volume of each shelf you'd struggle to find anything that would fit that was 200kg+

I cba atm to work it out but I wonder how much gold bullion would weigh in the available space

I actually use these side by side (as in to double the depth to 60cm) as I find it allows for a far greater variety of items I can then store. (edited)

I would recommend also added this product to your basket:

Rustins Quick Drying MDF Clear Sealer 1L

one tin did two sets of shelves for me (both sides of wood). ie about 10 pieces of MDF (edited)

I had a similar one (MDF shelving) which I made the mistake of putting in the shed. All the wood grew green furry mould and I ended up binning it. If you plan on using it outside where there is a possibility of moisture, be sure to varnish/paint the wood accordingly.

You'd have to be brave to load it with 1.3 tons!!!

I'm not sure brave is quite the right word

Just to be sure: do you know if these are the real life dimensions, and not the package?
    Thank you in advance!

I have one already, not sure I could put 200+ kg per shelf but for the money it does a very good job. Thanks OP.

thankyou much cheaper than the amazon offer.

My only advice with this is that you only really need it if you’re going to properly load it up. There are other lightweight plastic alternatives that are easier to put together and will support a fair amount of weight. These also tend to attract mould in garages because of the MDF.

70x30 is a small shelf size.

Size of this is absurd.. what are you going to store on this? Wouldn't fit a small toolbox.
    BigPro's avatar
It would fit most small, medium and large toolboxes

Is the delivery cost based on quantity? Just tried to buy 5 and it was over £100. (edited)

They seem to charge the £3.99 in each and every one ordered, probably because of the weight, they may even send them separately.

No way you can put 265kg on each shelf, mislead advertising. These rubbish shelving units are on Amazon and manomano , I bought it and returned as it’s too flimsy.
    LadyEleanor's avatar
Probably not, but being so tiny means there is less stress on each small shelf.

These might be great somewhere heated / ventilated, but no way on Earth would I put these up in a garage. 6.2mm MDF...if you sneeze in the wrong direction these will start sagging

I need slotted angle bars for a project. Can't find them anywhere so maybe could just use the ones that come with these
