Love this rice. We go through a few bags (South Asian family).. if you go there for rice. Pick up a few bottles of 5L Sunflower Oil for £6.80 (cheapest it's been for a while) (edited)

Same here. What brand of flour atta do you use? Any deals spotted? We use elephant wholemeal atta. Any alternatives?

Awful rice in my opinion. Never cooks properly. Even my Mum and sister in law gave up with these. Stick to Kohinoor.

Cooking rice was something I could never get right twice in a row. Always got distracted. Perhaps ADHD. So £99 later, I have a Panda rice cooker, and have now eaten more rice in 2 months than in the whole of last year
No bullets, no pap, just nicely cooked.

Boil your water. Wash rice a couple of times. Take a saucepan, add your rice, add twice the volume in water. Get it to bubble. Turn all the way down to the lowest setting on the hob, lid on. 8/9 mins later, once you can't see any more liquid, leave with lid on and steam for a further 5 mins. Salt to taste. I add ghee.
