Please check the bag. This one does NOT say it is LONG GRAIN. So it will not be the usual gold quality.
Very misleading of Laila rice co. Some gold bags are long grain and some are not.

Very true, I bought 2 bags of the gold pack and the rice were from the green bags. I could tell the difference from the colour of the rice

What is the difference between this and the normal version in the green bag?

Recent batch of Laila gold not of the same quality as previously bought, the rice cooks, looks and tastes like easy cook basmati (darker coloured rice) . Ok if you prefer easy cook basmati otherwise avoid.
