sorted by- I used to buy these for around £15 years ago off eBay so this looks like a good deal. Especially since I heard they stopped making these out of metal now but that could be wrong. Just a word of caution I remember reading somewhere that the paint on these is not exactly food safe so probably don't use it as a lunchbox. I didn't even want to use them for my toilet rolls! Mainly use the for tools and computer bits.Don't use them as a lunch box because you don't want to find your lunch has been confiscated by plod when you go to the fridge at lunchtime.
- A good place to store my 50cal ammo
- Great for storing you car keys.
I think i'll order a stab vest too for next time I go shopping in Romford (edited)And Liverpool - What a natty lunchbox!

preppersshop.co.uk/bea…asp"Tacti-cool Dance Pants" - To Notts lads and girls... aren't these a fiver or so down the local cattle market on Saturdays?(or used to be)?
Used to see lots of them outside army stores and poor condition ones going for £3 quid!?
Maybe they've been snapped up by the Ukrainian armyIs that a euphemism or is there really a cattle market in Nottingham? - Would make a great enclosure to build a portable power back with some LiFePO4's and a BMS.
- Ha ha ...that takes me back .....lost a finger nail after getting my finger caught in the exact same sort of 50 cal box! (edited)Wow, you must have seen some action, what a war wound.
One for the grand kids eh!? - Will this fit within the Ryanair hand luggage allowance? Not only does it fit, NO-ONE wants to sit next to you when they see you stashing an ammo box in the overhead lockers. Whole row to yourself.
- Anything for tank shells , 50 cal not enough for the rats
- Weirdly, I don't need it, but sorta want it???Hence half the sh1t I have cluttering up my house and the lack of disposable income thanks to this website (edited)
- Come across these while Geocaching, make very good containers.
- Mine arrived in a bad way and initially had a lot of water in.
Definitely not grade 1 (edited)They've got back to me and said there's no problem with it. Definitely a supplier to avoid! - Perfect for all those out of date rations I boughtwait until the zombie/clicker apocalyse...your out of date rations will be worth their weight in gold

- But.... why?
- kindly borrowed from the mod!!
- Ideal for storing ammunition
- i`ve had one of these for years,
and it's just too impractical to use to store anything,
as it's a pain to open and close,
but i can't bring myself to chuck it out - Anyone know if used to store car keys would it stop keyless car theft? If youhad the contents of the box I think your car would be safe. North East ofEngland obviously excluded.
- Oh wow! Used to use ammo boxes as spice/condiment containers to make compo edible back in the 80's.
I still have one (flashbang box) which I use as a toolbox. - Nobody seems to appreciate these have practical use. Here's a few 😁
These rate extreamly well for battery storage or anything flamible.
Good for keeping valuables in as well incase of a fire or flood... Both of which will become a massive problem with global warming.
Stop things getting corroded outside or in a shed. - These are perfect for storing Blu-rays, Xbox One games and ps4/ps5 games. Perfect gift for your teenager's rooms and they'll actually tidy their games away too. Also a good gift idea for men that like to pretend they're a teenager with their Xbox too, just like me.
DVD cases are too tall though.
