I have one that I use in an enclosure, it works very well.
Would this fit into a HP14 laptop cf2007 intel core i3 4gb ram 256gb..?
If so is it worth me buying this ? i don't do gaming or store films on it just general web browsing and storing photos.
And how much should a PC shop charge to do it ?.
So you need the space? If not then don't bother. If just storage then you could just but ausb external drive.
Check YouTube for your model number to see if there are any videos showing how to replace it, it's usually just a few Screws. (edited)
Intel 670p has DRAM but is QLC. I've found it to be a good drive. Had it for one year. Now 98% life left. Have about 350GB used and use it for generally lighter workloads on laptop. It's very good as an OS / apps drive.
980 uses HMB (Host Memory Buffer) as it is DRAMless but uses better quality TLC NAND (edited)
