About this deal
This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:
I was looking at getting the Ring Doorbell Pro 2 and noticed a great price on the Amazon Warehouse version. Mine came today and despite being Used, Good condition, it’s basically mint apart from the box being opened. Looks like only a few are available. There are also Used, Acceptable available for £70.69 if you want to take the risk.

Any tips for the included adapter and chime?
Is the bell still useful without subscription?
If you have Alexa, use that as your chime.
I personally wouldn't use the doorbell without a subscription as you can't review footage.
It's mainly better quality, colour night time and better vertical
Is that what it said for everyone else?
Will give it a look before using it in case (edited)
Upgrading my hardwired video doorbell gen 2 because the lag to record means I end up having recordings of people walking away from the door a lot of the time.
Looks like the old one will sell around £50 on eBay so not a bad price for an upgrade.
Was debating whether the battery powered gen 2 was actually better to keep as it would mean I have backup power in case the electricity went down but just realised the WiFi would go down too so can't really be used as a backup! (edited)
Edit: it works perfectly (edited)
Keep the hardware cheap, make money from subscriptions
Just like printer makers make money from consumables ...
My thoughts vs the ring gen 2 this has upgraded -
- Pre roll is a game changer so no longer just getting the back of delivery drivers
- HDR works well, image isn't as washed out in sunlight and nice to see the clouds moving over time
- Wide vertical lense is useful although the image is a square on my alexa echo show which is slightly annoying
- 30 second snapshot vs 5 minutes is great so you miss less
- Bird's eye view is rubbish because the satellite maps used are no good but not really a feature I needed.
Also look out for e-mails after you register the device for a free faceplate!
Wonder if mine is draining too much power. (edited)
