you have to rinse this a LOT before eating. And it stinks when you open the packet. That said, it takes on the flavour of whatever you are cooking provided you have rinsed it well. Did i mention rinse it? please rinse it..
    Rinse.

This stuff tastes horrible it's fake rice it's pure water with a rubber jelly texture. I had this for a while with different brands.

Depends how you cook it. I give it a good wash, boil it for 8 mins, drain , fry, add salt, pepper, garlic + parsley, sometimes stir in butter too..lovely.

This product is 97% water! Try having some veggies instead

Oos. They are still this price on the bulk store, along with their noodles and pasta, for similar money. Sadly, bulk charge £3.95 unless you spend £40

these things are horrible for digestion and don't taste nice either, not good for you!
Just grab a couple of rice cakes if you must

Never really got on with anything konjac based. Rice, noodles, pasta; Its all just awful... Used to cook it, serve it up, look at it, sniff it... and then throw it away.

Great diet food, actively puts you off eating anything....

And I used to rinse it ALOT...

Like others have said, konjac is very hard to get to a texture that isn't like munching on a live squid and getting rid of the smell takes a while.
You need some amount of calories in the day, instead of buying this you may want to cut your portion of normal rice and add more protein instead to keep you full for longer on less calories.

Worth mentioning if you’ve never had konjac before and your system isn’t used to it, it can definitely wreak havoc on your stomach. Lot of bloating, gas and rough trips to the bathroom.

Good price though, can usually get the equivalent for £1 in farmfoods and that was already cheap so less than 70p is insane
