Are these suitable for the slow path at Snowdon?

The Llanberis path at Snowdon can be done in trainers TBH, it is unbelievably easy and very boring. For the most part, it is a well-maintained dirt path with a slight incline and a few shops along the way. If you do any of the other routes you'll need hiking boots or shoes, which these are not.

In all honestly I would recommend taking a harder route up Snowdon and taking the Llanberis path on the way down. There are 7 routes and bar 2 (1 I wouldn't even touch and isn't recommended in most places since it involves a knife point), the other 5 are pretty easy, 3 being very easy. Can not tell you the number of times I heard people say Snowdon was boring and then you ask them which path they took and without fail they took the Llanberis path up and down... Ofc the most unchallenging route, which is essentially a long boring walk is well going to be boring. Just a heads up, it is very unlikely to be clear at the top of Snowdon on any given day.

I bought Timerland earlier this year and found them very true to size length wise but slightly narrow at the heel. Size 11 for me.

What's with the bright white on every colour variant? These are meant to be hiking/trekking shoes. If you go anywhere remotely muddy, they will be ruined.

Yeah. These aren’t hiking or walking boots, they’re misleadingly marketed tat for around town that seems to be Timberland’s bread and butter now. Look at makes like Berghaus, Grisport, even Karrimor or Regatta, and don’t put yourself through a 25k in these. (edited)

Grabbed an 8.5 in grey spot on . Price of trainers and walking trainers and boots are just silly . I won’t budge till I get deals under £45 is my rule lol . You would be surprised the amount of times £100 popular trainers go under £50 . (edited)
