The new pin layout and ridged traction patches give insane grip and support, keeping your feet locked in place even on the gnarliest terrain. Plus, the tough nylon-composite body can handle whatever you throw at it. We love these nylon-reinforced composite pedals because they give us the confidence to take on any trail and push our limits, even at this crazy price.

heat from me i have been using these pedals for over 3 years now. very light and super grippy.
look after the bearings every 6 months with a clean & new grease, weather dependent & how often you ride of course. their is also plenty of reviews on youtube .

    Look after your own bearings

Good that they are nukeproof because a nuclear war is not out of the question these days.

Indeed. Important we know our pedals are going to stand up to it as cycle as quickly as possible away from the blast zone...

Clipless pedals have been around 30 years........just saying.

Unless you're racing MTBs clipless isn't automatically better, it's mostly a preference.

Nukeproof? Just in time for Oppenhaimer

Highly doubt it's nukeproof - someone call advertising standards

LoL - I see I have been beaten to the "nukeproof" comments - how do they test for that?

Do these rip up your shins or calves if you slip? Suitable for a kids bike?
    taffyraptor's avatar
Yes they will. I've done it plenty over the years. I'd say it depends on the kid and their ability. They are mega grippy so you aren't likely to slip off them, but a misplaced foot or a 'stumble' might lead to your shin ripping downward. It's all a learning curve though I guess.

I put these on my bike today. I sliced up my shin horribly when I went to pick it up to carry it upstairs, then later sliced up my calf when I was walking alongside it. Never had such an experience with bike pedals before, certainly not in the space of an hour! Hopefully, it's just a case of being mindful of how sharp they are in the future
