Description

Upgraded Sony Sensor
The DR02 D is a complete front and rear dash cam system that supports you in any road accident. The premium quality Sony IMX307 sensors in both cameras capture razor sharp 1920x1080p 30fps video and perform excellently for night driving with HDR night vision.

Operation in Extreme Temperatures
This camera uses a supercapacitor for greater resistance to heat and cold (-30°C – 75°C / -22°F – 167°F) and longer life than standard battery technology.

Panic & Loop Recording
Panic Recording automatically captures unexpected driving incidents and secures the recordings. Loop recording allows continuous use by overwriting old and unnecessary footage.

Motion Detection
With a built-in G-sensor, the dash cam can automatically detect a sudden shaking/collision. Connect to the wired kit or AUKEY PM-YY (sold separately) to maintain power to your dash cam even when the car ignition is off.

info added by

Utilising a Sony Exmor Sensor, the AUKEY DR02 Dash Camera captures everything in super-sharp full 1080p resolution with a super-wide 170° field of view. It also maintains strong performance in low-light conditions for nighttime driving.

  • Upgraded Sony sensor
  • Operates in extreme conditions
  • Panic & loop recording

is there a noob friendly way to power this and tuck in the wires (ideally avoiding blocking up the cig lighter power) without worrying about fusing (losing power) straight to the battery or is it better via fuse box

Check out Fuse Taps on Amazon, and get a hard wire kit for the dash cam.

The fuse tap replaces an existing fuse, with a twin fuse holder. 1 of the fuses is the original fuse, and the other is a fuse for the dash cam.

Crimp the hard wire kit to the fuse tap, fit the fuse tap where the original fuse came from.

You'll need to identify a switched live fuse, and a permanent live fuse.

As mentioned up thread, make sure the hard wire kit will turn off if the vehicle battery gets low.

1080p/30fps will make evading plates at certain distances a issue even more so at night

What memory card would be required for this? Thanks

any high endurance micro sd. sandisk of course would be the best. 32gb would save about a week of average driving.

Does this mean it records rear view from the front screen mounting?
    B1000's avatar
No, the front facing camera (DR02) only records the front.

You need the seperate back camera if you want that. Look up the DR02D that includes the back camera. (edited)
