Good for accuracy when using for baking, when recipes asks for ingredients that's under 5g like salt, yeast and baking soda.

You must be right, I got a used - like new set. They also appeared to have been used for baking purposes, white powder was all over it.

Great investment. Saved me a fortune having some 0.01g scales over the years. My neighbour used to sell me 1g bags of yeast, turns out it was 0.8g bags all along. I now go to a more reputable local yeast dealer.

I bet he was cutting the yeast with builders sand as well.
It's never a good thing when your yeast dealer breaks bad.

For those who always wanted to be 'gram'atically accurate, and 'ounce' their way to success!

Bought one for cooking when travelling to my dads. He’s only got an old, and undoubtedly inaccurate set of mechanical, plastic scales. Challenging finding a bowl to fit the small plate, but worked fine.

Thanks Op, ordered one for powdered koi medication, as these don't tend to last for too long stored in container outside. At this price it doesn't matter and the scales are normally really accurate. My fish aren't worth much but this eliminates losses through guesswork and helps keep them healthy.

One thing to note is this isn't accurate enough to weigh miligrams, it can go as low as 100mg, but if you need 10mg etc then I'd recommend an AWS scale such as this or a rebadge of it >

Well, here's a thing. A set of scales, for those unexpected moments when you urgently need to weigh your family jewels. Not only does it go down to 0.01 grams, but it will handle up to 100 grams. Perfect! Because I always find my diamond earrings weigh a tad too much, don't they? And let's be honest, who hasn't been there? Rushing out of the house, desperately trying to decide which set of gold cufflinks to wear, only to realise they might tip the scale and ruin your day. But remember, the manufacturers assure us it's definitely not for anything as uncouth as weighing your personal stash of illegal substances. No, not at all. It's for those hard-hitting decisions in life like, "Should I wear the emerald pendant or the ruby brooch?" or "how much does my inexplicably large stash of oregano weigh!" Absolute lifesaver, this is.
