The large and easily accessible double door has high impact handles with metal slider latch and full length galvanised steel hinge pins, plus an exterior padlock loop with two deadbolts on the interior of the left door for added security and peace of mind. The walls are constructed from steel reinforced dual-wall polyethylene panels, while the roof is constructed from dual-wall polyethylene panels with heavy duty steel trusses to provide additional roof strength and to survive the elements for many years.

The wood grain floor is constructed from slip resistant dual-wall polyethylene to maintain durability, while the ridge skylight will provide added interior light, plus two screened vents will provide improved ventilation. The shed is UV protected from fading and cracking and comes with a high-impact polyethylene floor that is resistant to stains and solvents.

N.B. Please note a level foundation is required (concrete, slabs, or a timber frame).

Regarding any missing or damaged parts, please contact csinternational@lifetime.com

Please check full contents, footprint and measurements before installation. If you are enlisting the help of a third party to install this product, please ensure that all contents have been received in full and undamaged prior to arranging and paying for installation to take place. Accessories are not included.

Premium Installation Service:

Choose our Premium Installation Service at checkout with your chosen shed and enjoy the comfort of knowing that installation is taken care of by skilled and trained installers.

The installation office will contact you to guide you smoothly through the process and ensure you are happy with your purchase.

Prior to booking your install date (within 10 working days of delivery) the installers will telephone you to check the following:

1. That you have a suitable base for your shed. It needs to be firm, flat & level. We recommend concrete, slabs or a timber frame. Please note that your shed cannot be placed directly onto a base of grass, earth, sand etc as natural movement will effect the stability of the building.

2. That there is enough space to build your chosen shed and that access to the build area is clear of obstruction. A minimum of 24” (61cm) space is needed around the shed for the installers to work in.

3. That the contents have been checked in full and free from damage.

4. Please note that the installation company is unable to carry the shed through your home so if there is not adequate access, provision for this must be made. Please note that the installation service does not include the removal of packaging, but will leave it tidily for the member to dispose of.

I've had a Keter shed for about 3 years now. As others have said, they don't suffer from condensation. This makes sense, since the materials used (hybrid plastic) tend to mimic the air temperature, so you don't end up with colder surfaces like you do with metal and glass.

The most important thing is you MUST put them on a perfectly flat base solid, particularly if you are installing a larger shed. If you are putting it on soil or even a badly prepared concrete base, as you build up the walls, the gaps between the slide together sections will start to widen. By the time you get to the roof, your upper sections will have exponentially exaggerated gaps, which means they won't fit where they should and large gaps will appear letting in rain and drafts. With wood there is some flexibility, but not with these, they are rigid slabs of precision cut plastic. If you do not have the skills to lay a level concrete base, then factor in the cost of having a professional do it.

IMHO these have many advantages over wood. They are completely dry inside, they look good (well some of them) and they don't need a coat of varnish/wood stain every few years. They'll cost more up front, but they'll be hassle free and look great for years.

I guess the only downside is they will fade in direct sunlight over several years. And, if you don't buy a good quality version to start with, the plastic will go brittle and be prone to snapping when impacted further down the track. (edited)

Nice. I’d been looking at the 7x12 one but might get this.

I bought the 7 x 12 when it was on offer for £1000 last time.

Great shed. Lots of space inside. Needs to be anchored properly to make it secure and not blow away and despite heavy rain in June not a drop found inside... (edited)

i have the 8 x 12. Only regret is not getting one sooner. Been up nearly 3 years .Including a good few named storms Not a single problem. As above , a level base is key. Mine is on some facebook marketplace FOC slabs with 2.5 Tons of hardcore and sand under that.

    This seems a good price

How difficult is to build this really?
Also how do you prepare the ground and anchor it?

As above , I have the 8 x 12. Its not difficult at all. Read the instructions in full. Then re read. The order of build is important. I built mine with my then 10 year old son. Took a full Saturday. Mine sits on an area that was grass before. I dug the grass out and then dug down about 75cm. Filled in with hardcore and sand. ( About 2 tons or so ) Compacted down with a hired compactor. Shed is on some foc 2 x 2 slabs off facebook. I don't have any anchors at all. It has not moved a mm since install 3 years ago. Zero moisture at all too.

As far as building it . It being level and square is important or the roof will be a PIA. The roof and roof light are the most fiddly. Actually , having my son there to climb up and put weight on the roof was a god send.
    Good luck.

These look great but so overpriced. Shame as could really do with one!

They are really not much more than a similar size wooden shed, but these give the bonus that you'll never have to regularly treat it with wood preserver to stop it from rotting away.

These are fantastic sheds, I have the larger version. Had it a few years now and been absolutely rock solid, even through heavy storms and strong winds. Just make sure you build it on a level base otherwise you will have problems fixing the roof.

How are these for condensation? How long do they last? Cheers
    MgBossHogg's avatar
Cant comment on the long lasting, I have had mine for 3 years. But that's Scottish years mind

I get zero condensation. | have not found a single drip of moisture inside the shed at all. Condensation or rain.
