Welcome to The Ascent Group arcology, a corporate-run metropolis stretching high into the sky and filled with creatures from all over the galaxy. You play as a worker, enslaved by the company that owns you and everyone else in your district. One day, you are suddenly caught in a vortex of catastrophic events: The Ascent Group shuts down for unknown reasons and the survival of your district is threatened. You must take up arms and embark on a new mission to find out what started it all.

sorted byDifficulty-wise it is perfectly fine to play solo. Early game you can pretty much get away with playing it however you like with little attention to skills or weapons. Then there is a mini boss that comes as a bit of a difficulty spike to many players - just need to focus on your build, skill selection and tactics for that enemy, then you can resume playing how you were. Few tough fights towards the end, but the end of the game needs to have a bit of a challenge!
The game world is set over a few expansive maps, and while there are certain areas held back behind events in the story and mission progression, there are plenty of areas it will let you wander into a zone intended for much higher levels. You can fight in them if you want to and earn good loot and reward - if you can survive it
If you like Diablo style gameplay crossed with a cyberpunk setting you can have a lot of fun here for the price.
