sorted byI have one of the new MacBook Pros, and the fan only really kicks in when editing photos, as it uses a lot of CPU/ RAM. But even when watching videos or multi-tasking, the device is incredibly quiet and I don’t think the fan ever kicks in otherwise. (edited)
If I didn’t have a MacBook Pro already I’d be tempted. My previous MacBook lasted 5 years and I still use it as a backup (I got a deal like this not long back for a newer model).
Apple hardware & software really is exceptional and made to last.
If I had to find a reason why this deal is going cold, is perhaps this ‘only’ has 8gb ram (enough for 80%+ users I’d say) and there’s been a few MacBook deals of late. (edited)
