I highly recommend to pay more and get the one with soft pillows and wide slots, as those cheap boxes have got stiff cardboard and narrow slots. The comfort and build quality are worth paying more once but getting a proper product.

    Who needs a watchbox
    A divan drawer will do

A watch box would help me with their removal.

Not bad at all. I've bought one of these too, and although it isn't a wolf or mele & co, for starting out with it is perfectly good value for money.

Do mesh straps fit in well?

I'm just starting out with collecting watches. Bought this one for just under £17 last year and its been fine for me as a basic box and does the job.

Yes some of the watches are wider than the pillow so I just have to be careful which ones I place next to each other.

Careful though you'll want to fill all the slots!

Disappointed you haven't synchronised all those watches. (edited)

Perfect for the Casio F91W collection.

I found pillows too big for my average size wrist so watches with braclets fit awkwardly in box

    Black grey highly recommended

Been needing one of these - will take a punt at that price, thanks!

Got the one with 6 slots. They're good for watches with plastic straps. Not sure about metal bracelets as you need to tighten the bracelet around pillow or else I'd fall up/down.

I have this. Black with grey cushions. Paid £12 last year. Perfectly good watch box.

Nice one, bought the 6 slot last week for £14.99 so going to return it and replace with the 10 slot version & it’s cheaper! Struggle with the bigger watches like the G Shock

Terrible quality. Everything comes apart after a year or so when the glue fails. Everything are glued together.
    laccc's avatar
yep, same happened with mine.. just fallen apart after a time as glue dissolved or whatever happened

I brought it and the main catch had been ripped off on arrival. But the screws holding it on were double the length they should be and we're pushing through in to the watch storage area....Shame really because it looks great. Do I risk another or would that be a waste of time?

I bought one of these a couple of years ago. It's alright but not that very good.

Phew! My collection is run of the mill.....

Any recommendations for a smaller box for those with considerably less than 10 watches?

Or is this such a low price that it's worth getting regardless?

Appreciate all the comments on quality however the reviews on Amazon and pretty impressive.

I have this, it's not the best quality but for £11 it's fine. My main issue is that the pillows are too big and really stretch the bracelets & straps of my watches - granted I have smaller than average wrist size so your mileage may vary

I've got the same one. It's not as nice as in the photos. You also can't get metal bracelet strap watches to lie flat in the case.
