I'm looking for a half decent tablet to mainly browse and play Roblox on with my daughter. She has an iPad pro and the quality, specially the detailed depth of field surpasses my Samsung s21 FE by a long shot and I really struggle to play games on it with her. It might just be because I'm trying to play on a smaller screen but that shouldn't matter being on a flagship phone, should it? Anyway I end up having to switch the pc on which I want to avoid as it doesn't have full controller support.
Does anyone have one of these for similar use cases?

I brought one to practice and improve my photo editing using the pen. However it is now used by my daughter for Roblox. It's a very good tablet and especially a Roblox tablet. You can add a controller I use an older Xbox one controller and it works fine. If that's your reason for buying I would say go for it. I'm considering buying another.

Hopefully someone can explain to me, I just googled to get a review etc and then I see adverts from quite a few companies offering the CN version What's going on there? And price is better?
    MrWani's avatar
The Chinese (CN) version will most likely be coming from China. Don't think that includes play store etc. So you'd need unlock the boot loader and put the Global ROM version on. Buying direct from Xiaomi / Amazon etc. will give you a warranty also.

For sure, not seen it this low before unless you bought it from Aliexpress (May2023 deal) hotukdeals.com/dea…289

No problem I'm actually quite pleased, paid £299 for the 256GB version off a random eBay seller. Typical that a deal comes up within days. If it turns out to be a dud I'll be all over this deal.

Anyone recommend a case for these? Kids or Adult as got one for each now.

    Gray all gone.
For some reason it was coming up as code already applied, deleted/added to the basket few times and it worked.
    Thanks Switchy.

It's a little while ago, I know, but I paid £269 for this end of June last year and got Xiaomi Buds 3 free with it. Great tablet and the buds are very good too.

Is this worth the extra £100 over the honor/lenovo for just general faffing/media viewing etc?
    uscool's avatar
Don't think it's worth it considering the honor pad x9 myself, just trying to hold out if better deal comes out, I bought honor pad 8 12inch for £120 for my brother and very impressed with it he uses it for general web browsing and watching media Im sure it'll last years for that (edited)

Any support for pen drawing ?
    Joel_Thomas4vH's avatar
Fairly certain they sell their own pen that allows active drawing on this model.

Thanks, ordered the white, I have been trying to decide between the pad 6 or the more budget honor x9 to replace my s6 lite 2020 that's started crashing. And at this price seems a great option. Thanks

Does this play Netflix etc in 4k resolution?
    GOODSTUFF's avatar
I believe Netflix is capped at FHD. Someone can correct me if I am wrong about this.

The tablet itself is also 2.5K WQHD 2560x1600 not 4K
  17. delvey1987's avatar
    This or an Ipad
    GOODSTUFF's avatar
would recommend an iPad but if you’re strictly on a budget then this is a great tablet!
