Still need to transfer from Dalaman to Marmaris (90 minutes each way) - doesn't look like included! Cheaper London airports only and Marmaris just a sunny version of Blackpool
    RichtersParty's avatar
Yeah it really looks just like Blackpool

Don't know which overzealous mod or algo removed your reply Ronin but thanks.

The toned down version... Return transfer for 2 including luggage £30. I was there mid may and paid £22'ish. It's a lovely resort, beautiful sea, beautiful people, safe, and a good deal too. Or, you can opt for the effluent ridden shores of Blackpool, for the same money on an A.I. equivalent basis!! ;-)

On their website and link states ‘This property is not accessible to people with reduced mobility’
    Sarden84's avatar
Yeah its rather hilly n co, and quite bit of areas that are hard walking in it.

If u want somewhere like this but better mobile: Diamond hotel by Green nature, even the resort and spa green nature is also good but is abit further out of the town area has good decent lifts and u can get around the resort no problem., and u can put ur request in by:

    idris.TANZI@greennaturehotels.com for best rooms too.

    October - cold
    mert's avatar
In Marmaris, October is generally quite warm around 25-30 degrees. Much more ideal for humans since currently that area is hovering around scorching 40-45 degrees.

This particular area is very popular ex sovi tourists, especially the hotels nearer to the marina and the ridiculous dolphin prison they have. Good if you like to get away from fellow Brits on holiday.

Couldn't think of anything better if I'm honest.

Sadly no option of adding child (under 1yr).
    Mentos's avatar
Message/call them. I used them a few times when our youngest was under two. Many of the deals only allowed 3 in a room, but they were happy to ask the hotel if they’d allow two children given our youngest would sleep with us.

All the hotels were ok with it, including Maldives where they can be a bit more difficult to get rooms for a family of four. If they’re on Voyage Prive, they generally want the business, so try to accommodate you. (edited)

    How much are the transfers
    Djpal123's avatar
Paid £100 for 7 of us both way in June school holiday. Sun transfer(private mini van).

Do check the map where this is located as it 10Km from main Marmaris.
    but its absolutely lovely area.

Marmaris from the Setur Marina do taxi boats to icemeler, near to this hotel is another named yachi marina. i would look into if they do boat taxi from this area too.
    BillRawls's avatar
Yeah I did a quick check, it's no bad thing that's it's not in/near Marmaris but I expected it to be on the other side on the way to Icmeler, which is a lovely little town. This one is quite isolated so I'd want/expect the facilities to be top notch as you'd likely not leave the place much.

Anyway, I like the deal but unless desperate for some sun, that's a long journey for only 5 days.

I stayed here when it was still TUI. Really good accommodation, decent grub, and tab views. Much better that that ****hole called Blackpool.

Bottle of wine on arrival, bottle of wine for dinner, all inclusive drinks, if you like your drink then watch out for the 40 degree heat.

I've been many times in October and it's been 25-30'c.
Can be a little chilly when the sun has gone down and if it's windy.

Why it is not specified that 98% of the hotel’s guests will be russians?
    OKov's avatar
Whole Turkey will be prob. But I've read Turkey tripled the price for ruz holidaymakers. Seen that video on twitter with ruz tourist trying to sneak 35 kg of food from hotel, and got catched?
