Booked this in June for 10nts leaving late Sept with my partner and daughter, booked flights separately was a lot cheaper (especially the luggage!). Hotel cost was £1,270, flights £600, transfers are about £100 return for a private taxi (hour each way) unless you prefer a 3 hour coach journey then much cheaper
Reviews are a bit mixed so let’s see. Going by the price on the usual booking platforms, seems a lot of their business comes through either Voyage Prive or large group bookings for businesses

It doesnt look too bad until you start to do the Maths. Working on the normal 7 day break and having to add flights / Transfers, which i havent bothered to do it will be over £1000 each. It looks nice in the photo's,but so do some of the Tui hotels.

Some dates from Glasgow for 6 nights £5000.

Terrible about the wildfires atm the competitive prices / dates for this one are mostly October, so a couple of months yet

£64/person per night so £128/couple per night

    Mehtastic pricing

Agree. I find the per person misleading (almost clickbait), but even worse on some listings where 2 children account for the per person price

We stayed here when we got married in Crete. It’s the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in. Amazing service and food.

Great deal but cheap flights dont really exist any more

Ahh yeah, gone are the days of the fabulous cheap flight offers -- I remember getting flights to Spain for just over £10

I am sure this hotel is lovely, but you know these kind of places are killing Crete.
Man of the workers are foreign, their pay is sent out of the country. The owners of the hotel I doubt are Greek either.
Meanwhile local restaurants, bars etc are struggling, as people stay in the all inclusive hotels.Andthe independent family run hotels are left unable to compete.

If you can afford it always try to stay at indepedent Greek run hotels, stay away from the all inclusives unless that is all you can afford.

True but go to these places if all you want is drinking, be loud and annoying to locals. English vacationers have a very bad reputation on the island (edited)

So the headline price is for (drumroll)… One night? Who’s going to be doing that, exactly? Pretty misleading, but that’s what we’ve come to expect from HUKD lately.

It clearly says from £64.00p.p > per night < (edited)

Not a great deal, maybe not even a good deal. Cold.

Are you kidding? For this price, in a 5* hotel, all
inclusive. You’d pay this for a premier inn in the uk just for a room.
  10. bemaniac's avatar
People voting hot thinking it's for 7 days for a family lol.
  11. ninp's avatar
Great price but the flights are coming up at £335pp. Anyone seen any cheaper flights? For end of Oct

Family of 4, October half term. £3,300

Just shows you how deceiving these ‘cheap’ holiday deals are
  13. stig77's avatar
Sorry but this is ridiculous. Just get a package deal at a similar price, or even less.

How do Greek/Turkish 5* AI resorts compare against each other and does anyone know how they both compare against say a Mexican 5*?
  15. Backinamo's avatar
£450 for a week plus flights in October? Is this not standard off peak.
  16. hootz's avatar
Doesn’t make sense to post the pride for 1 night and then splits it into per person. If everyone started posting individual nights like this I am sure wouldn’t be accepted
  17. aaneicam's avatar
Tempted by this but after checking the temperatures there for October (16 Celsius) I don’t think it would be warm enough.
    YiannisF's avatar
October in Crete is usually sunny and pleasantly warm. The sea stays warm until February or later (when the snow starts to melt) and is warmer than in June!
Whilst there is no guarantee for the weather I would choose October to summer months every time. Only drawback is the days are not long
