sorted byOne thing I did when I got it and would definitely recommend is sold the original batteries (got £28 each for them on sphock or whatever it is called) and bought some 5AH compatibles for £33 each. Transforms the mower's usability no end. The compatibles have also been faultless. It doesnt say in the blurb but the dual charger is a fast charger so not a huge wait for the 2 batteries to charge up.
Heat added. (edited)
I picked up some 5aH from eBay for £29/each which made it usable rather than only cutting a strip of grass!
But I will say I have found my 5aH compatibles sometimes don't like it if I take them from the charger and put them straight into the mower together... I occasionally have to put them into the strimmer, start it, and then the batteries also work in the mower. Not entirely sure why this occurs mind you!
I am able to get this done (approx 180sq m) on one charge. However that is only if I stay on top of it once a week. If needs a deeper cut I have to get my second set of batteries out. Pretty pleased with it though. I paid £170ish.
Going to opt for a petrol mower. Want one with a roller. Any suggestions most appreciated!
As I look after the lawns of 2 elderly neighbours as well as mine, I can get through the 6 lawns on one charge. Granted they aren't by any means large lawns. (edited)

These are the ones I got (edited)
At the new house, it's no good for the back lawn which is too big - I use a petrol mower for that. But the petrol mower is very heavy and so difficult to turn.
I use this battery mower on the front lawn which is smallish and oddly shaped - much easier to turn as it weighs almost nothing (i do it one -handed!) and therefore much quicker than the petrol mower (or a corded mower) would be.
How does this compare? Is one any good?
There are much better battery powered mowers available (Makita, Einhell, Hyundai, DeWalt, Milwaukee) - WORX is not worth it, even at this price! (edited)
And the battery just about lasts my front and rear garden taking about 15 to 20 minutes.
Cant comment on long term reliability, but so far at the price I am happy with it.
The strimmer is fine also.
