    Mines £25 x 4 as well. I rarely shop at Asda so a bit of a disappointing offer, basically 5% cashback. I've given heat for the posted deal, just disappointed that I'm not eligible.

    My Halifax bank account is giving me 8% cashback at Sainsburys in August which probably works out better for me as Asda seem to be more expensive these days (edited)

    Why people are supporting this Asda app BS I just don't get. They are mugging people off. I avoid shopping there since they started this. Shame people don't wake up and stop supporting this rubbish practice. (edited)

    Why are they mugging you off? The app is free. I'd only scan if I am actually in the store. I doubt folk are going out of their way to shop there just for the app offers.... if you do your shopping there anyway it's a bonus (edited)

    Seems the more you shop the less generous the offers are.... I've been shopping with Asda for last 3-4 months as DID get discount with blue light card. But they have cut that and also my Asda stars app has been giving less for a high qualifying requirement

    Sainsbury's offers relate to what you actually buy plus Nectar and Smartshop prices - Asda rewards start off OK when you first sign up but then become worse and worse over time - like recently just £1.50 back for a £25 bakery spend over just a couple of weeks - it's just to tempt you to spend more.

    I agree. I save a bloody fortune with nectar prices/bonus points offers. Usually rack up between 500-1000 points per shop, plus whatever i save through nectar prices (mostly the personalised offers). And i'm not even doing huge shops (roughly £40 a week)

    Dont have the app. Tried to download it but after signing in to my asda account and pushed download I got a message saying your purchase has been verified!!!!
    Heaven only knows what I have paid for and how much it has cost me. Not a good deal for me :o((

    I only installed the app last week to get the £5 bonus for your first shop. Another £5 offer would've been nice, and maybe persuaded me to stick around. Can't say i've been all that impressed with Asda's prices or the offers on their app. Gona stick with Sainsburys.

    I missed out last month by one shop, and I could have had it too, if only the customer assistant prompted me at the till. I find they rarely do. It's frustrating because you can't claim it back after the transaction via receipt.

    I offer my app to the checkout operator, but she said it had to be done at the end. She forgot to scan it and told me it was too late! It was only for a small amount, or I may have taken it further. In hindsight, I should have told her to cancel the transaction and start again.

    Ok so need to use the app on 3 separate days. The only other time I used the app was for the first scan bonus where you got £5 in the cash pot. Haven't used since as the rewards haven't been of interest.

    I got the app when they offered new users a £5 reward if you spent any amount, then the app updated. & I couldn’t log in as I forgot the password, tried the forgot password link. & changed it, the app wouldn’t accept the new password, online help wasn’t helpful & the phone helpline just said it was too busy & use the website which I already did, so I now give Asda a miss

    this comment will no doubt be deleted by the mods, as this site is getting too pc

    I was just saying the deal seems good, but I don't have the app etc...

    Really? What is this place coming to if we can't make a simple and relevant statement like that?

    If someone didn't understand my comment, why not just respond to it in the chat instead of reporting it?
