This is the answer I was looking for - cheers

The first one’s okay, the sequel drags on. It’s at least 45 mins too long and has a random fantasy element (not explained) and a character that changes form partway through (not explained).

    Great films considering their budgets.
The fact that both these films can be made on less than 1 million, is more impressive than most of the trash that comes out of hollywood costing hundreds of millions.
I would certainly watch a third, and would be good if the director teamed with Rob Zombie to make it. (edited)

    Childish garbage

Think you’re watching the wrong sort of films. Don’t think ever claim to be adult drama.

Hope it's better than Richard i i i. The question is though, "how many killings?"

I forgot I have £5 free credit to use on prime videos. just bought these two even though I feel Ive outgrown those brutal horror movies. Im hoping these have more than just gore.
    goatboy_71's avatar
They don't. Gore for the sake of gore, Art isn't even a scary character, just butchers people and the 2nd one is TWO AND A HALF HOURS of it so you just get numb to it.

    These movies are pure Art

Fun horror films, but super gory, like more gory than any other horror films you have seen. T2 is better, as more money went into it.
    maccalen's avatar
Yes, T2 is definitely better. I thought Robert Patrick nailed his role.

Films for those whose mental age stalled at 16.
    jouster's avatar
Horror isn’t for everyone but this definitely isn’t for 16 year olds
  17. jouster's avatar
These films are proper old school horror. Not a great story line but the gore it top class…if you like that sort of thing.

I’ve been watching all sorts of horror all my life but even I thought some of the stuff in part 1, specifically towards the end, was a bit OTT. Loved it though (edited)

My kids love these movies, especially the second one
  19. BARKMAN's avatar
The first one is on paramount plus if you have that

There is a certain cult following for these films. There no doubt be a third one as well. If you're into gory effects and way over the top tongue in cheek horror then I'd still check it out for 99p

Not really Hollywood(which is a good thing), more 'made it in my garage' kind of feel. Enjoyable nevertheless.
  22. GiddyUpKramer's avatar
The first one has roughly zero plot and the second one has a very bizarre and surprising plot.
  23. Alex_Ham's avatar
Well worth a punt at a quid each
