Anyone ordering from temu for the first time. Don't do it without using a 50% off coupon on up a £100 cart. Got a lot of good stuff from there with those coupons. Emulators and all sorts 50% off. Plus shipping is very fast just over a week

Does the website have an add to cart for the coupon like Ali or is it a code ?

    Please be aware:

I have previously owned two of these and they both broke really easily.

Brought the second as I thought I was being heavy handed and not treating it with care but I was wrong and it broke again.

Just started to see lots to promotions for Temu and wondered who/what they are?
As a long term user of AliExpress was curious about them and their viability and safety as an alternative!

Just had look via the link to their site and it looks just like AliExpress;! (edited)

They are owned by pin duo duo. Most would not have heard of them but if you ask a person from mainland China they would have heard of them as they are huge in China. In fact probably more popular than AliExpress in terms of users these days. The difference Vs AliExpress is that there is a minimum spend for temu, as they bring together lots of marketplace sellers, package it up and deal with the delivery. This is where it is different to AliExpress, where each marketplace seller will send the product direct to the consumer. By bringing them together it offers a lot of small sellers a chance to grow as they don't need to send individually to each customer and can make them competitive with some of the larger sellers. For the customer it means delivery savings. Think of it like a dispatched by Amazon service.

I am void Temu, Wish and AliExpress etc. Last times they brushing scams me to write fake reviews on thier products to tricking people's actually buying them. (Got me worried that they may taken my credit card details) Also you could pay important tax or link to criminal (received legally product or x things wifey) and worse you get awful spam calling.. no thanks.. stick to UK HOT DEALS ..

I’ve seen ads for Temu, been tempted but haven’t succumbed yet. Am I losing out? They seem too good to be true. After a recent potential scam (not this company), I’ve become paranoid I think. On a fixed, limited income now so can’t afford to lose money anywhere.

You are not missing anything. I ordered five different items in my first order and everything was such cheap quality that I won't be touching them again!

Temu seems to be on my case with ads for weeks now. I really hate everything i'm seeing from them and feel it's sham of a company (basically selling tat).
    UnderTheRadar's avatar
Lets be fair here, Amazon has basically turned into the Western Temu with the amount of tat you have to wade through.

28,000 to 45,000 vibrations per minute is about 466Hz to 750Hz. That ain't ultrasonic, just sonic.

Is it not minimum £10 spend with this TEMU
    JamesB83's avatar
In my app it says £5 minimum spend and free delivery when you click the timer that counts down. This seems to appear daily though.

Is this a secure site ?
    Whats it like ?
    JamesB83's avatar
It's secure but personally wouldn't put my bank card details on, I use PayPal.

I see they are copying Phillips Sonicare toothbrushes but obviously inferior quality 👎🏼
    bigpappa69's avatar
Nonsense. I've had similar ones from China for years now and have been superior to the Philips ones I used before that, which broke like clockwork after their warranty expired. Holds charge better than Philips too. And you get replacement brushes too
