Use mine regularly, mainly on doors. Have also used it on worktops as a router guide. Very strong clamping action. Recommended.

Tempted by these but annoying they are 1m in size so no good for 8x4 sheets.

oooo good spot, i originally just looked at the length "122cm" and thought thats handy exactly 4ft for sheet material. Strange to only make it 1m in my opinion

1000mm maximum makes these of little use when the standard sheet size is 1220mm

I bought two of these a few years ago they are very good.
Why two? You can use the together either side of tool so you don't steer away from a single guide.
I have moved on to a track saw now though and that is a game changer.

what track saw did you go for pal?

Have had one for several years and it comes in handy. Big to store though if you have limited space.

I noticed it says "suitable for securing when gluing", but would a sash clamp do a better job? Albeit. sash clamps do cost a little bit more and don't also double as guide rails.

sash clamps would be better for sure. Not a huge amount of clamping force from these.

definitely having at least one. looks like it's still clamps and batten for full sheets though.

Strange how it's in on 20th but I picked one up in a Lidl about 2 weeks ago?

Thanks. I missed this last time

Will probably pick one up when available. Should be a sleeker solution than the straight edge on a spirit level and a couple of clamps!

The previous ones were green, did the design change?
