    That’s a great price. Unfortunately I don’t need another.

love the Ryobi range, it gets a bit addictive though!

So very true... I'm very guilty of this

Have had many different brands of battery tools, none given me any issues, till I bought my first Ryobi! It’s the wire brush tool for cleaning the moss from lock block. It works well, goes through too many expensive wire brushes for my liking. But the battery is now goosed, not even 2 years old! And no I didn’t register for the 3 year warranty
From reading up this is quite a common issue as the battery has sat uncharged for too long, the trick is trying to get some charge into it so it’ll reach its min charge and start working again. Tried all the smart tricks, next is to open it up and charging the cells directly. Ryobi are off my wish list now.

But realistically, who's fault is it for letting it sit uncharged for so long 🤭

I got this through via Keepa about a day ago now, nearly got one but I just adapt Milwaukee batteries for the few things Ryobi I need

Same - bat adapter works fine

Heat, thanks. I have 2 main tools line, Blue Bosch professional and Ryobi. I refuse to pay £88 for a 5.0ah when I paid £48 for a Blue professional one. I love the Ryobi tool line but their batteries are overpriced so don't mind these deals, heat.

I totally didn't need this but still got one, it's a good price. Now I have six to fully populate the multiport charger. That's how they get ya!

Damn just bought 2 from ryobi for £110, oh well

Buy two from the link above, and then return to Ryobi

Cheers! Needed one for ages, and finally one came up. Lots of Ryobi kit, and one suspicious eBay '5ah' battery

Great deal but, they have had, on multiple occasions 2x 5ah for £99

Great, for people who need two batteries and are willing to spend twice the money to get them.

To be able to get one battery at virtually half the price of the twin pack offer is excellent no matter which way you look at it. (edited)

Does a bigger battery offer a higher power output too? Sorry, amatuer hour here. Example, I have their impact driver and it sometimes struggles but it has a 2ah battery.

Not scientific, but... I was using 1.2ah batteries with my Ryobi circular saw, when I switched to a 5ah battery, it felt a lot more powerful and made the cuts far easier.

    I've had good results from ebay/amazon 3rd party batteries ~ £22
One ebay was no good - didn't charge to 4 bars and v. hard to remove from charger / drill, seller refunded said keep battery .
    Mainly use in impact drivers.
Dewalt stuff often as cheap /cheaper

    Thanks!!

    Great price for the single!

I already have a 4ah, while the double pack was tempting for £99, I didn't need 2 so it was a bit of a waste.
This is just what I needed, bought it with pay over 5 Months too.
    Cheers!

That was exactly my position - having 3 large capacity batteries and not that many tools felt pointless!
