Got one of these a while ago. Is good for light dusty areas but not for definitely not for.... Leaf blowing 🍃 .

Damn, that's what I wanted it for.

I've seen pack rafts blown up with these in a matter of seconds. Does anyone know if it'll work blowing up a paddle board?

    No, sorry it wont.

It works great for tubing (essentially giant inner tubes to go down rivers) but wont for a SUP which needs an unique-ish combination of flow rate and pressure.

Best automated-ish solution I've found is to use a Red double-source adapter (ie with 2 halkey-roberts fittings on the 'input' end) and using a car-adapter pump to get it to 80% full and then use a manual pump (or a double/triple/quadruple sup pump) on the other to finish the job.

Reason for not doing car-adapter the whole way is that it overly stresses the pump and leads to early failure and also allows it to cool down if you're doing more than one board.

As ever: waist leash/waist leash adapter, pfd and waterproof phone case at all times though.

Awesome little blower, makes tiding up sawdust etc enjoyable, almost! But I do have the bigger twin battery one for the garden. That's bloody powerful but eats battery's. This little one last ages on one battery.
If it broke I would instantly buy another.

I’ve got exactly the same pairing. Use the little one far more, but doesn’t quite have the “oomph” for clearing leaves off the lawn. Brilliant on paved areas though

This is a great little blower. Makita do a long nozzle for this, which is what I use for leaves etc. yes, if the leaves are soaking wet, it’s not so great but otherwise works very well.

is this good enough to blow grass and it's off a path ?

Yes. Great on paved areas. Struggles a bit more on grass

A bit confused about this - says body only and actual page states no charger or bag etc - so what is actually included? Also would this be good to dry the car with (avoiding using cloths, towels, chammois etc to avoid swirl marks and paint damage so looking for a blower to dry off the car). TIA

It means that it doesnt come with any battery or charger - so aimed at people who already have makita tools (I have laods of Makita stuff already, so just buy 'body only' now - only issue is that its an addiction)

Great bit of kit this. I have a one for blowing garden cuttings and dust. Small but powerful. I bought the long tube as it'll break your back bending down without it

Excellent kit for clearing patios and good for drying wing mirrors when washing the car surprisingly powerful

Thinking about getting a blower, but to also blow dust out of my computer components as well as mainly for sawdust and leaves, so looking for an all rounder. Can this do detail blowing sufficient for computer or should I look at something like DAS180Z which I think has different power settings and different nozzles? Thanks! (edited)

Wouldn't a vac be more suitable for pc , thats what i use .

Someone is using this one as a vac? Just for tidying up shed, or van?
Understand it will not do carpets

Don't select the 'with vacuum bag' option. From the feedback it looks like the supplied bag doesn't fit. However, the correct one is currently on offer for a tenner from another seller.
