So does ‘refurbished’ with possible parts replaced mean they are replaced with cheap Chinese copy spares?
As well all know it’s very difficult or impossible to obtain new spares for apple products unless you are apple. Or an authorised retailer

    Maybe the screen ?

yikes, much laptop for the money. This is my daily laptop and the build, battery life, trackpad, sleep/wake behaviour are all incomparably superior to any Windows laptop. I recommend this to anyone unless you don't like the operating system. But keep in mind you can buy new for £100-200 extra. I paid around £830 for mine, new, years ago. You might find that at this price it holds it's value well. (edited)

Can’t agree more. I used a pc for years before fancying a change last year and moving over to a Mac. The difference is night and day. I’ll never go back to using a pc at home again.

Good price! Just wish there was a 14 or 15 inch version

There are some 15 inch MBA’s discounted with the code but it’s still going to be around double this price.

Paid £350 for a 'refurb' which ended up being brand new from clearance bargains at the beginning of the year.

    Is that an eBay store?

Bought mine two years ago for this price through Amazon Warehouse. Best purchase decision ever, its a great machine.

You can get a brand new one from Very for £680 if you are a new customer and buy on credit (20% off)

if that option is available, that is an excellent deal and worthy of the extra for new over used

having 8GB of RAM will kill your SSD fast due to swapping if u ever come close to using 8.. pls stay away. 2GB is used for OS only.
