Quality clothes are made to be worn, but everyday pieces need care to maintain their condition. Whether you wash one shirt or a full load, AEG washing machines will adjust the cycle accordingly, reducing wear and tear by taking the minimum amount of time, water and energy necessary for a thorough clean.

CARING FOR CLOTHES. SAVING WATER AND ENERGY
ProSense technology® automatically weighs each load to provide a tailored cycle. Sensors adjust washing times precisely with just the right amount of water used, ensuring optimum treatment for every garment whilst saving water and energy.

PROTECTION FOR YOUR CLOTHES
All AEG machines have our ProTex gentle drum, specially designed to take care of your clothes. Gentle water jets lift and protect your laundry as it washes. With more holes than standard machines, our drum reduces the stretching of fabric, maintaining the shape and texture of clothes during spin cycles.

INVERTER MOTOR FOR A LONGER LIFETIME
The inverter motor in this appliance works without brushes and at a cooler temperature. The advantage is that this extends the working life of the motor, ensuring it can continue to deliver the same silent performance for longer.

CHOOSE THE RIGHT TIME TO WASH
Delay Start gives you the freedom to do your washing at the time you prefer by allowing you to automatically set the start time of your washing cycle.

THOROUGHLY CLEANED. WITH ANTI-ALLERGY PROGRAMME
The AntiAllergy Vapor 60ºC washing programme provides steam at the end of the cycle, to give your clothes a hygienic and efficient clean. This helps reduce bacteria and allergens from your clothes, and supports better laundry hygiene.

I swear by AEG quality. I'm switching all my appliances to AEG slowly. Got the 9000 series washing machine recently that replaced a 4yr old leaking Bosch, and it has been very impressive so far. Also have AEG dryer, oven, hood, Zanussi (same group as AEG) fridge freezer. Just the Neff dishwasher and hob left, but they're pretty good too.
Do Not buy an AEG vacuum though, they are horrible.

Same here. We continue to be amazed by how well everything works and the quality is a league above Bosch. We don't have an AEG fridge or dishwasher as these are not very efficient it must be said. (We have a Siemens A rated dishwasher which is amazing!) (edited)

Ha competitor to Miele? That is a joke. I wouldn’t touch AEG with a bargepole nowadays. Their machines are substandard and not built in Germany.

You don't know nowadays, in the past I sold Neff and Bosch appliances, the mid and top models were genuine but the lower end stuff was cheap Chinese rebadges. Oddly enough Whirlpool did the same and the cheap Chinese rebadges was substantially better than their own (often very expensive) stuff.

Love my AEG washer. Made in Italy though. Yes - some washes will take several hours. That’s kind of the point. Lower energy, takes longer. Quick washes, won’t help your machine last though. We are on economy 7 and it’s silent so we put it on overnight and take wash out in morning most of the time. (edited)

Isn't it all a big wrinkled mess that takes a lot of ironing if you leave it in a machine all night ?

This is made in Poland and I hear the humans there are just as good at using screwdrivers and plugging connectors in, as they are in other countries (edited)

Wife says we need steam so AEG 7000 PROSTEAM® UNIVERSALDOSE 9 KG WASHING MACHINE £503.20 after code looks good value & is well reviewed. + has 20 min quick wash. Might stack with 10% join marketing mail promo too, I don't know. Have been looking into tubs a lot of late. Few days back in-store bought a dented new similar spec Bosch for a tad more so I'll never know about this AEG.
