The Makita DSS611ZB07901 18V 165mm LXT Circular Saw Bare Unit Plus 16T Blade is ideal for professional carpenters, joiners, kitchen fitters and DIY enthusiasts. Generating a no-load speed of 0-3700 rpm this machine will make short work of long, thick wooden boards. At 90° it can cut up to 57mm. To ensure accuracy there is an integrated LED job light that illuminates surfaces and the ergonomic grips give you firm control, while also providing comfort. sorted byI have the 610 and has done so much work and is still going. I believe the 611 is a watered down version hence the price.
Model DSS611 has been developed as a cost-competitive sister tool of Model DSS610. Features the same lightweight design, portability and high performance as DSS610 although the following functions have been removed: LED Job light, Positive stop at 45 degrees, Blower function, Electric brake
When mine finally dies I would definitely get the brushless model for the extra power DHS680
