sorted bymy biggest beef is that the straps seem to continually bunch up on themselves and get trapped in the back / inner workings of the seat making it really hard to actually put the seat belt on when your kid is in the seat as it gets trapped and is difficult to release / free up. Additionally the crotch bit always seems to end up underneath them which makes it hard to get out when trying to get the kids clipped into the seat, and then the little padded material cover on the crotch bit also isn’t affixed to the seat so it often just falls off / out the car.. we have already had to buy two replacements as they have gone missing, and noticed them on the floor outside the car a number of times.
lastly if you have manly arms / hands (which fortunately I don’t) threading the seatbelt through the back of the seat to install the seat into the car is nearly impossible as the gap in the rear of the seat is so damn tight.. I often get my arm stuck in there whilst trying to move the seats between cars and my arms are really scrawny. Just infuriating.
so yeah for the money, I mean they are car seats. But I would advise to shop around.. we absolutely hate them but don’t have the money to replace them. (edited)
Ours is seven years old and has had 3 kids through it and has been faultless.
