Textile dyeing requires a lot of water but also produces waste water from the dye baths. To reduce our environmental impact, we use a mass pigmentation process that involves adding the colour pigments when the yarn itself is produced.
We use this process for the following colours (ref: 8648382).

Living Room and Bedroom
6.5 sqm living area with an inner tent height of 1.90 m.
This tent includes several accessories:
- Zipped floor mat that can be lifted at the entrances in case of rain
- Transparent window with shutter
- Screen window with shutter
- Storage pouches in the bedrooms and living room

The bedroom of this tent can accommodate a maximum of four 70-cm-wide mattresses. It can also accommodate a couple looking for a very large bedroom.

Pitching and dismantling
Inflatable all-in-one structure with pre-assembled bedrooms and flysheet.
Using our Quechua Ultim Comfort pump with built-in pressure gauge, we recommend that you inflate the tubes to 7 PSI of pressure.
To view this pump, copy the reference 8601387 and paste it into the search engine of our website.

PUMP NOT INCLUDED
To make it easier, we recommend that 2 people pitch the tent, although 1 person can manage.

Sun protection
Our Fresh&Black technology relies on a UPF 50+ sun protection fabric.
Caution: be careful, as a large amount of UV rays can get in through a simple open door.

Ventilation
The ventilated flysheet on the living area airs the room and reduces condensation inside your tent. Outside each bedroom is a high ventilation hatch. Inside each bedroom is a large, low ventilation hatch. The living room comes with a mosquito net and the bedrooms with high mosquito nets.

Wind resistance
We test all our tents in a wind tunnel on a turntable. The aim is to expose each side of our tent to the same wind intensity.
Properly pitched, with the guy ropes deployed, this tent remains habitable in wind speed 7, measured at 60 km/h.
Feel free to re-inflate your inflatable poles regularly during your stay at the campsite (7 Psi).

Waterproofing
We test our tents to validate their waterproofing. The first test is done in the laboratory, 3 hours under 200 litres of water per hour per sqm, equivalent to 200 mm tropical rain per hour. The second test is done in the field under real-life conditions by our teams. This tent is fitted with a polyurethane-coated polyester flysheet measuring 2,000 mm. It also has seams taped using heat-sealed strips and a 190 g/sqm polyethylene groundsheet.

The Fresh & Black technology keeps the inside of your tent cooler and darker
Cooler and darker for better sleep!
Fresh & Black is a technology patented by Decathlon that allows us to reflect the sun's rays and insulate from the light thanks to specific materials.
This reduces the sensation of heat in the tent and makes it darker.
To get the most out of this technology, don't forget to ventilate your tent at night!

Repair
As designers and users who love nature, we care about the durability of our products. That's why all our tents are designed to be repairable. Spare parts and repairs for inflatable hoops are available at the workshop of your Decathlon store or on our website.

Poles and tent pegs
Inflatable poles - All our inflatable poles have a two-layer arch structure: a thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) air chamber and a 600-denier polyester cover*.
Living room reinforcement - There's an aluminium bar in the living room to stiffen the structure.
Tent pegs - All our pegs are made of steel and have a diameter of 6 mm.
4 ground pegs are included.

I have the original version of the tent, and have also looked at this one. It is a definite improvement on the original model. The main gripe i have with the OG is that the bottom and sides in the living area weren't able joined, meaning the first time we used it our dog actually escaped in the middle of the night! this model has a zip between the two.

One of the inner tubes sprang a leak within the first 6 months, not my fault and the repair kit that comes with it was missing. Decathlon repaired it for me free of charge as it was under warranty so the customer service is top notch

It is easy enough to put up. You can almost put it up single handedly, but it is easier with 2 people, as you have someone holding the air tubes in place while the other pegs, and the canopy pole needs 2 to get it in as its very tight.

we usually have a large airbed in the sleeping area, and there is room for bags at the end of the airbed and room to fall off either side. if sleeping on ground mats only you can get 4, though it would be snug.

highly recommend purely from the pitching and deflating point of view.

Do you happen to know a good tent carpet which fits?

Does it really take 4 Men to inflate it?
    gummy_bear's avatar
Yes because theres no pump included

Its a good tent but its a more spacious 2 man tent or 2 adults and one child at a squeeze

I think people need to be realistic about what they want to do in a tent and for how long. If you want to sleep 2 adults and 2 children, get ready in a morning and prepare lunches it'll be fine (especially if your car is 4 metres away).
If you want to take it to an island on the West Coast of Scotland in Feb for 2 weeks and live in it while it rains the whole time then it's definitely too small.

Got this one, which was tested this weekend @Daisy May's farm while rain coming down like crazy all day and night long. Sustained all of that with ease Totally recommend!

Slept 3 comfortably with another one to fit with no trouble. (edited)

Done three festivals in it this summer. Two of them had horrific weather and the tent stood up well.

Main bonus for me is the blackout sleeping area, I don't think I could go back to another tent after it.

We've camped as a couple which is more than enough space. You could probably have a child in there too and it still be comfortable enough.

Is this as small as it looks
    richie999's avatar
I know what you mean, looking at my screen, I don't think even I would fit in it, let alone 4 people!

We've had the first version of this tent for about 8-9 years now, still going strong.
  8. Blueboy1878's avatar
Paid £350 for this but ended up selling it as it wasnt big enough for a family of 4 ' 2 adults 2 kids'
Got a 6 man instead which was a lot more comfortable'

Which is a pole based tent where Ops (rightly or wrongly) commands a premium being air based.

I've had both (not these specifically, air and pole) and while the air works for us because my wife predominantly goes on her own so makes it easier to set up if it weren't for that I would personally stick with a pole based tent - feeling the money, size and weight isn't worth the premium but hey, you do you

I have the slightly older (blue & white) non-inflatable version of this tent. I bought it to go to festivals where I volunteer. The blackout sleeping area is great because it stays fairly dark and quite cool if you need to sleep in the morning on a hot day. The living area is tall enough for me to stand in (6'2") which is really important to me if I'm going to be in it for several days. I've had some pretty heavy rain and it's withstood it without a problem.
Obviously I can't comment personally on the inflatable aspect but several of my festival friends have the inflatable version and they say it's fantastic. A bit heavier than the version with poles but they can put the tent up in a few minutes and none of them have had problems with air leaks. I'm hoping to get one and sell mine. Not sure this is quite the price I want to pay, although it's certainly cheaper than when I last looked at it.

    Showing £349 for me?
  12. _Sparky_'s avatar
I'm surprised it's this cheap what with inflation
    deleted2922835's avatar
Now there are more inflatable and blackout tents about the price has dropped significantly. Having said that this does look to a good deal especially considering the current climate.

I thought inflation was going down?

Now is the season of discount tents.

Good tents but No sewn in ground sheet, would be def purchase if ground sheet came fitted..
    razorwire's avatar
Bit late here but we have the larger 5.2 version of this and it has a fitted groundsheet - it zips in so can be removed but it's there as standard.
  15. Profgunnington's avatar
4-man tent. Shows two sleeping bags in the product image.

Standard. This will fit two actual humans or 4 children.
    the2ndlaw's avatar
It does but there's two side tables at either side. It's 280x210cm sleeping area. Enough room for x4
  16. poulsej's avatar
Just measure out 70x210cm on the floor. That's how much space 4 people would get each. And about 90 wide for 3 people. Maths !!

    A good deal

good price, heat added. We've got the Berghaus equivelant as I could see us making a mess of such a light colour.

I don't like the design and will be changing it out next season. The tapered front and back constrains usable space significantly and a consistent tunnel designed tent (have a look at the XL variety of the Berghaus Air tents) I feel would be better without being overly heavier/bigger packed. Just my opinion
  19. paul_bpZf's avatar
Seems expensive, I have the same tent but only spent £100 2 years ago.
    Iesty83's avatar
    how?

these have always been circa £300 - 350 in Decathlon
  20. razorwire's avatar
We've got the larger 5.2 version and it's a fantastic tent - it coped absolutely brilliantly at a very wet and muddy Blue Dot festival, and it'll get another outing at another potentially very rainy festival this weekend.

We also had a Berghaus 4.1 Air tent which was good, but the Quechua definitely feels a lot cooler on hot mornings - I was really smug last year when our friends were forced out of their tents really early on a blazingly hot morning, where as I had a leisurely lie-in as our tent was still nice and cool despite the sun beating down.

You do pay a premium with any air tent in terms of the extra weight and size (so maybe not ideal for Glastonbury where you might be lugging it for an hour from car park to pitching it) but I definitely think it's worth it.

Thanks for posting kkkkkkkkk1 , just checked the Decathlon Video , seems to be a well made tent. Im a novice at camping, and seems to be be a good choice. Im based in ROI where we have to put up with higher prices than the UK, having said that , when I convert the UK price to Euro , the price is very similar to UK.

We are two adults medium build , one child 6yrs, one 8, might be a tight squeez
  22. snooky's avatar
Also 6.8% TopCashBack, so it brings the price to £280, or just over £300 if you also buy the pump.
  23. Evy's avatar
Would this be OK for someone to put up solo if they only have one functional hand? I want to go camping with my dog but I'm having trouble finding a tent I could put up easily.
    c58's avatar
Depends how good you are with your one functioning hand but I'd suggest no, if you had an electrical pump you could probably get it up but packing it away would be difficult one handed, that being said if you had to do it I'm sure it could be done it would just be tricky
  24. Ken_Ryan's avatar
The elec pump mentioned above needs to have a PSI indicator, anything above 7psi not good for the tents air beams
