Thanks for this. Should be a amazing view. I've spent the last four years. Living in London. Very different, from my previous life. Coming from a small town, outside Bristol. I'm starting to really love, living here. Every single day, something different, to do. It's vibrant, multi cultural and 24/7. Not for everyone, I understand.
You learn, new tricks, everyday. It's huge, almost too big and hopefully, will become cleaner. With the extension of ULEZ. It was a tough call. To extend it. But I truly believe, that it will, make a difference, to air quality.

Just saw the photo of the Sky Garden and got worried I must have been drunk and been in a fight in there at some point.

Then it occurred to me that its in Watch Dogs : Legion

Did this today. Really good freebie. Didn't book, just walked straight in and up to the observation deck after a quick security check. Recommended.

They show the new one looking down on the Shard, is it really higher than the Shard's viewing area?

Sky Garden is really great. Had a friend that worked there and took us via the back elevator. We could stay as long as we liked, have a nice coffee and enjoy the views on the comfy sofas. Definitely recommend it.

Do a tour of the Houses of Parliament & Big Ben (Elizabeth Tower) too, well worth it, I did it on a Wednesday a few years back and watched PMQ's , it was back when GB was PM.. You just have to email your local MP and they will arrange it, I got my sorted within 4 weeks, but it depends on your MP is suppose.
    alanzz's avatar
I wont bother, my MP is / was Nadine Dorries

I went to the top of St Paul's in the early 80s - in the days before the modern Greed Is Good neoliberal era, when the CofE remembered it is one of the wealthiest institutions in the UK & entry was free.

It's pretty amazing, but an exhausting climb - not for someone with dodgy knees.

Done and enjoyed the Skygarden a few times and looking forward to visiting 8 Bishops. Still lament the loss of Virgin's amazing Kensington Roof gardens in Derry Street with its resident flamingos
