I have a similar sized plot and only fertilise the from garden - otherwise I'm just creating too much work cutting the grass. I spray the rear with an iron sulphate solution twice a year which keeps the moss down and greens the grass as well as spot treating any weeds with Lawn Weedol - using a weed and feed just provokes too much growth.
When I do buy weed and feeds for the front lawn I try to buy in bulk at this time of the year when retailers are selling their stock - Wilkos used to be a place to watch out for. Even get some decent deals on Amazon. Any brand generally will do as I find them all mostly the same.

Over the last 5 years my lawn has declined into poor health, I've scarified and weeded..
Just seems to have gone backwards. I'll try the iron sulphate, not knowing the prices I'll struggle to fine a decent deal.
I want to get back to mowing twice a week
