Xbox Gold

My son is wanting Xbox gold for for birthday in 3weeks.... does anyone know how i go about this?
Are there any deals on anywhere , im no use at this!

He has an Xbox X

I can see it on a CD keys website for £30 i think.... but this says Xbox one / 360? im so confused

    Xbox Live Gold has been replaced by a new service called Xbox Game Pass Core, I'm not sure how old codes will work but it's something to be mindful of
