40 Pack(£31.98) - amzn.eu/d/b…QIy
Brilliant deal and nearly twice the size of a normal Shin Cup! Absolute bargain. Best spicy noodles about in my opinion

Nong Shim Shin Ramyun

Spicy, aromatic, traditional - Shin Ramyun, a common dish in Korea! It not only combines the taste of Asia, but combines it with stunning Korean sharpness - in the truest sense of the word!

The interplay of aromas
Do you love sharp soups and are a fan of Ramen noodles? Shin Ramyun convinces with its sharp broth enhanced with mushrooms, carrots, red chilli peppers and onions.

Not for the faint nerves.
Do you want to experience maximum sharpness? No problem, because Korea's number 1 Shin Ramyun could make you sweat.

Important things at a glance:
Very sharp noodle soup.
Broth with instant noodles
With vegetable flakes of mushrooms, carrots, chilli and onions.
Cooking time in the cooking pot is 4 ½ minutes.
Ideal for use at home or on the go.

I recommend cracking an egg into the noodle about 1 min before the noodle is cooked. Gently stirred to break up the egg. Or try adding a spoonful of butter to make the soup buttery and spicy or a splash of ketchup for hot and sour taste.
I normally took the noodle off the stove when it was about cooked, so it still has that springy texture and not soggy noodles. (edited)

Anyone compare these to the Samyang Buldak Hot Chicken Ramen (just the normal, not the 2x or 3x hot)?

Not just on the spice/heat but also the noodles. The actual noodles in those Samyang ramen are really nice too.

See these are available at Tesco, so migth try and get some to try next time I pass there.

Thinner noodles, and not as hot but still pack a nice kick, and personally think these are much tastier than Samyang.

This is the stuff. Srsly as a Korean, this is THE national ramen for me. Also, if you feel adventurous try reducing the broth (i.e. not as much soup) and the taste gets way more intense and the noodles stay springy longer (will be saltier).

How spicy are these compared to bombay bad boy pot noodles? I'd like to try them but I'm weak when it comes to spicy foods

If you're struggling with Bombay badboy then maybe avoid these lol.

I can't find anywhere if they have beef in or not, anybody know?
    beardybot1's avatar
No beef. Some of the E numbers _can_ be obtained from cow products, but typically, commercially, are not.

They sell these individually at Tesco, so their website can provide full nutritional information: tesco.com/gro…020

Highly recommend Tradewinds oriental for these

    tradewindsorientalshop.co.uk/pro…ets

15.95 right now although 6 quid postage... But if you do a bulk shop there then it's not bad. Lot of good prices on loads of Asian stuff, easy to bump your shop up to £50+ without too much effort. Bulk box of Indo mi here, couple litres of sesame oil there, bulk box of Knorr chicken powder over there...

These are nice for what they are. You actually get these in Japan so you know they're good.

agreed, this and the kimchi one

One of the best ones out there

These are the best out there! I alway make mine with a little less water
    tubbyasstoo's avatar
    me too

saucepan of water to boil, add dried noodles and soup mix, let simmer for a few mins...until soup is concentrated and noodles are soft...all straight into a bowl, if you got the water proportions right, the soup is delicious

When start boiling add egg in it, dynamite
  16. ry91's avatar
Great tip for these: simmer them in 300ml water until soft, crack an egg in and mix it up, then add a slice of processed cheese at the end and stir it in. Turns into a sort of spicy Mac and cheese.

That's some cheap noodles! I wasn't eligible for that promotion unfortunately

Enjoy for you all plastic pasta 🥹
    Eanamule's avatar
That's untrue. It's normally palm oil that gives the shape of the noodle.

I haven't tried this, they don't appear to be Megaton hot though, so I'd probably pass. Need to be eyeball popping spicy for me. Buldak is really good they have a 13,200 SHU (Scoville Heat Units) which will pep you up.
  21. azl's avatar
Are these unhealthy? Lots of E in ingredients.
    reckoning's avatar
Not ideal in any manner, but you can certainly add peas, sweet corn, or whatever you would like.
