My experience of Meross devices has been terrible - just an exercise in frustration. I will be avoiding them in the future, and I hope this comment saves at least one other person from the same frustration.

This requires a neutral wire, which most people won't have

I like the price. But I can't see the benefit when you can use a smart bulb instead. Cheaper and no need for wiring. I'm using eufy lightbulbs (alongside a few other brands) since years ago, no issues.

Fine if you have single bulb fittings, but on a 6 bulb main light, this is much more cost effective

Ive realized smart switches are the way to go if you have kids and a wife who keep turning off the switches out of habit still have the smart bulbs to deal with the dimming/softer white colour.

I prefer the Quinetic range of wireless wall controls and switches, which don’t need a neutral cable. In fact, the wall control switches don’t need any cable..Pushing the wall switch creates enough kinetic energy to wirelessly trigger the receiver. The smart receiver can also be controlled with the kinetic switch app and with Alexa etc via the smart life app.

Hi mate I'm looking for some info on switch.

Do all switch need to be wired with electrical cable? As in would it be possible to have one that would just work without electrical wiring (compatible hue bridge preferably)

I'd like to set something up for my disable brother, as my mom keep switching the actual switch which just turns off the light and make the bulb completely unusable without him being able to physically turn it on again. Not sure if it makes sense what I'm saying but let me know if not.

Is there anything smart yet that can press my dishwasher switch at 00:30 without having to replace the working machine?

I'm guessing yours doesn't have a delay start feature?
