The first three headliner titles for this month's Humble Choice have been leaked (source: twitter.com/billbil_kun/status/1698715162595745827):

HEADLINE GAMES:

4195892-dup8S.jpgTiny Tina's Wonderlands: Embark on an epic adventure full of whimsy, wonder, and high-powered weaponry! Roll your own multiclass hero then shoot, loot, slash, and cast on a quest to stop the Dragon Lord.
Metacritic: 78
How Long to Beat: 16h

4195892-zUjSH.jpgDeceive Inc.: Go undercover as the world’s greatest spies in this tense multiplayer game of subterfuge. Disguise as anyone, deploy an arsenal of high-tech gadgets or neutralize the competition. As long as you extract with the objective, no trick is too dirty when you work for DECEIVE INC.
Metacritic: 75
How Long to Beat: N/A (multiplayer game)

4195892-04uDi.jpgThe Forgotten City: The Forgotten City is a narrative-driven time loop adventure in ancient Rome. Discover the ruins of an ancient underground city, travel 2000 years into the past, and unravel the mystery of who destroyed it by cleverly exploiting the power to wind back time. The fate of the city is in your hands.
Metacritic: 84
How Long to Beat: 6h

OTHER GAMES NOW ALSO CONFIRMED:

4195892-CHdop.jpgAutonauts vs PirateBots: Create, automate and defend an impenetrable base. Assemble and command a Bot army to combat an entire Piratebot invasion. Build, program and battle your way through five different zones.
Metacritic: N/A
How Long to Beat: 20.5h

4195892-g7MDa.jpgAces & Adventures: Aces & Adventures is a deckbuilding RPG with poker-powered combat. Craft your deck, combining poker hands with powerful ability cards. Journey through 13 fully-voiced campaigns to save the Life Tree, or tackle procedurally-generated runs in this strategic deckbuilder unlike any other.
Metacritic: 84
How Long to Beat: 6.5h

4195892-TYnUd.jpgPatch Quest: In a labyrinth surrounded by vicious monsters, Explorers must rely on their Lasso to survive! Capture and tame ANY monster to leap, glide, surf, tunnel and websling through a treacherous, patchwork maze. This roguelike/metroidvania seems cute, but it’s a deceptively difficult bullet-hell
Metacritic: 80
How Long to Beat: 9h

4195892-lnc98.jpgForetales: Decide the fate of the world in this ingenious story-driven card game. Foretales offers a unique take on the adventure genre, with a multitude of playstyles and story paths through which you can save the world… or bring about its end.
Metacritic: 74
How Long to Beat: 13.5h

4195892-ZWM4X.jpgWho Pressed Mute on Uncle Marcus?: An eccentric FMV murder mystery with a twist: someone has poisoned Uncle Marcus. Uncover the truth in the yearly family quiz and try to save him before it is too late.

Waited for Tiny Tina to go cheap for so long and purchased it on Xbox just a few weeks ago... only for it to become part of the bundle before I've even played it properly The other games seem great to play on the go, so still worth it for me!

Is anyone still after Tiny Tina as I'll probably just stick to my Xbox version? Also just realised that I already have Patch Quest in my library so that's up for grabs too... not having much luck this month

Edit: Apparently I also already owned Autonauts vs Piratebots if anyone wants to try it? (edited)

I'll happily purchase Tina from you if you want rid, it's the only one I'm after this month.

The Forgotten City is a great little walking sim, played it on Game Pass a while back. No interest in the other two, so will wait and see what else comes up, but heat added!

Been holding out on Tiny Tina's Wonderlands. Looks to be a decent month

For £8.99 Tiny Tina's Wonderlands might be worth it if you are a fan of that awful and cringeworthy california sense of "humor" the game is stuffed with.
I gave up on it after roughly 6 hours as I just couldn't stand never ending verbal diarrhea coming out of all the characters

EDTI: plus the stupid RNG with the reward weapons. (edited)

    Only want it for Tina.

Can't decide if it's a good buy if only base game. Don't Borderlands have habit of releasing the game and season pass together for similar price this far into the game?
    RoadieRunner's avatar
The dlc for wonderlands is pants as I understand, but worth it for the base game. I'll be getting this

Wonderlands helps complete the big Borderlands collection that's just been put together, so that's very well timed.

Forgotten City has been on Game Pass before and is probably the best "mod-turned-game" ever made, worth a punt in general.

Deceive Inc. is the dark horse of the set (and the one I've already got). If anyone remembers the multiplayer from Assassin's Creed (Brotherhood, Revelations, etc), it's a fair bit like that. You're a spy (solo or team) tasked with retrieving a briefcase using Bond-esque gadgets, skills and social stealth (and guns). Some of the fun comes from using your abilities and your wits to ambush other players. Worth a look at gameplay videos to see how it plays once you have a decent set of abilities in the game. Never done the Humble Choice thing.
Can someone explain the 'Pause' option? vs Cancelling.
    reddeviluk's avatar
Basically, it's a monthly subscription, but if you decide there's nothing for you this month, pause it and next month resume.... Or don't.

Same as cancelling as in there's no charge to you, but they keep you on the books.
  7. Relievo's avatar
Okay, so I subscribed to this. I claimed the half a dozen games it offered. Is there any tips as to what I should do next?
    reddeviluk's avatar
The next games will be out in a few days, at that point you'll know if you're going to freeze, unsubscribe or keep the next games.... Rinse and repeat every month.

Forgotten city is a great adventure game.

Seen the rumors but excited to get Tiny Tina's wonderlands on the steam deck
    reddeviluk's avatar
Just finishing off Borderlands 3.... Perfect on Deck, hopefully Tina matches it.

Nice. Change start time to 6pm for the deal? (edited)

This is coming up at £6 for me as I have a mysterious discount added
    MrFlipFlop's avatar
Slightly better than the offer I got at £7. It lasts until 3 Oct but I've yet to sign up.
  16. MrFlipFlop's avatar
Just signed up and for some reason it was even cheaper than their last offer a few days ago, just £5
  17. PurplePerson's avatar
The month is off to a good start, Tiny Tina and The Forgotten City look good, and were already on my watchlist.
  18. Zafir's avatar
Really good month, had both wonderlands and the forgotten city on my steam wishlist.
  19. Relievo's avatar
I'm surprised this can be posted, without a price.

There was a price when I posted this (£8.99)…
  20. iiibdiii's avatar
Last humble I bought was tropico series.
  21. Venner's avatar
Already have Tiny Tina so will pause but a great month again
  22. reddeviluk's avatar
I only want Tiny Tina, so if anyone wants to sell or an eBay I will go.......

Amazes that the big games are always leaked but the space fillers are always a suprise.
    kyeung's avatar
Yea clever marketing strategy to keep ppl interested thinking there will be more decent games for the fillers
  23. StephenFoste-46724.67415's avatar
They release them the first Tuesday of the month right ?
  24. DisagreeableRunt's avatar
Finally a month I don't need to pause! Last couple have been decent but I already owned the games I'd want from them. I'll still pause, of course, as they've offered me discounts this past few when pausing.
    soups's avatar
I paused but no discount so paid the normal price
  25. Adder172's avatar
Got for Tiny Tina - though decieve and forgotten city look alright too - all deck-able

So have these left for trade:

    Aces & adventures

    Tin Can
Disco Elysium - The Final Cut
    Relievo's avatar
