Personally recommend the M&S beans at 50p

Much prefer Aldi beans 45p normal price or 57p with sausages Heinz have had their day and no longer as nice as they used to be

My problem with this deal is two-fold

    1) Tesco think charging £1.40 for a tin of beans is not a criminal act
    2) Arguably they are still overpriced at half price locking you into having to have a club card to get a "discount", What a croc of

I had this same argument on here when a member posted cosco petrol at something like £1.67 a ltr during covid when everywhere else it eas £1.75 and they were arguing that it was a bargain .
    I said there's a massive difference between a bargain and cheaper !
Yes it was a few pence cheaper than anywhere else but still a rip off !
I didn't manage to get through to anyone

    Reduced from £1.40!
Heinze are the new poster boys for corporate greed. Don't forget, they are special tins, "Beanz For Every Child", oh the irony.

I cannot disagree but despite Tesco's pleas of poverty and other public BS PR Statements if they can afford to sell them for 70p (to that exclusive Clubcard elite - does anyone not have one these days) how can they with a straight face at corporate HQ have a decision to have the standard price at £1.40. Sales must be down but what you expect when more or less double the price or reduce the size of your products yet still charge more greedy bs

A lot of the Heinz products I’ve stopped buying are massively loaded with sugar fructose so I’ve actually lost weight and feel a lot better from eating them.

I knew it was a risky post... but I wasn't expecting -172 lol.

Funny thing is, there is multipacks that work out about the same per tin that go very hot... but this went very cold lol

ah well, hope it saves some people some money

It’s not a bad post it’s just people have had enough of Heinz. If you still buy Heinz then 70p is better than a £ or more.

Found it quite strange that Mercadona in Spain was selling a 4 pack a couple of weeks ago for €1.99 , wasn’t even on offer, if you like thick sauce beans like Heinz then Lidl’s own version with a similar looking label aren’t bad , personally I prefer runnier sauce on my beans and am happy to buy whoever’s own brand for way less money
