Only negative appears to be the screen, 220 nits is awful, can't see if IPS or tn.

Appears to have 2 ram slots and comes with Norton360

Toshiba sold the remaining stake of its laptop business to Sharp in 2020, the name is now under licence. Unfortunately the Toshiba quality is gone.

'Quality' on the Satellite (Pro) range wasn't worth writing home about even when they were Toshiba proper.

I have bought multiple dynabooks for work.

Build quality is very good, business grade machines. Would recommend.

These are cheap as Dynabook have pulled out the UK market but warranty is valid, they have said it is tempt but you never know. (edited)

LAPTOP is acronym for "Lightweight Analytical Platform Total Optimised.
Meaning a device that is lightweight, able to compute, optimised etc... you get the gist!
A HEAVY 14" AMD laptop is neither lightweight or optimised.
    Unfortunately cant say much....

“Only negative appears to be the screen”? I’d thought it’s the fact that it comes with Norton360

I thought Toshiba stopped making laptops...

Just a label...in fact I think all brand laptops these days are just a label... No one actually makes anything... They just stick some computer parts together in a box quite badly and say they have made something.

Looks like Sharp bought Toshiba's laptop business, called in Dynabook but now presumably using the Toshiba brand name under licence as no one had heard of Dynabook
    adam.mt's avatar
It won't say Toshiba on the device, but may have a sticker on the box saying 'Dynabook, formerly Toshiba'. (edited)

Worth checking if the model is covered by their reliability guarantee (fault within yr 1 equals fix AND refund) - emea.dynabook.com/rel…tee

Toshiba, one of the first laptop makers... Together with Compaq they were probably the market leaders... How the world changes! (edited)

Yes they did, see comments above, Sharp bought the Toshiba laptop business, called it Dynabook.

We used these at work and the amount of faulty batteries and SSD's is unbeleivable!

Dynabook have now pulled out of the UK.
