If you are still struggling to find where the vouchers are here is what i did and managed to find a store that offers this free eye test. 1) Click find a store in the top left corner, put your postcode in and a list of stores will appear. 2) Click 'view store details' 3) If a voucher is available it will appear to view it under the stores name, if not it will not say anything. 4) These vouchers are different from store to store but i managed to find the free test voucher on my 5th store on the list, so check different ones and see if you have it in your area. Then check the conditions, print it and book the test. Hope this helps. 50945970-Wef2M.jpg

Tried clicking through and also choosing Chafford Hundred as per OP, but doesn't mention anything about price of eye test or that it is free or discounted. I only have the option of adding the £10 OCT scan. Don't think I'll be booking and hoping for a free test and then finding out it is £50 since no prices are quoted!

Update: it appears after searching for local stores you would need to click "view store details" to check for vouchers rather than click "book now". This wasn't explained by OP. (edited)

So that is annoying, no discounts in my town, but the next town over I can get an eye test for £10 lol. So it's actually cheaper for me to travel to the next town and get an eye test! lol

I assume I can go to any store, nothing stopping me do that right?

You can go to any store.

Specsavers said my perscription had improved in the last 2 years. Amazing what age can do :P

Wouldn't touch these lot with a barge pole. Worst standard of eye test you can get.

If that is the case, where do you recommend going to? For me that would be in Bury, greater Manchester ! I think personally I will get a free eye test so I’m not limited to this deal via Specsavers. Thanks in advance.

Just asked hotukdeals moderators to take down the post from KoDc basically telling members on here to lie in order to obtain a free eye test and potentially having an impact on the NHS but they have refused

I've had a few, though usually save money not a free test posted to my house in recent years. Now my eye test is due I am hoping I see another but God knows when that might happen lol.

I might just wait a bit this time, see if one arrives as I feel like one might be due! not had one delivered in a while.

So you need a printed voucher like the above?
  14. uk3g's avatar
I think it might be location specific. Tried a few London postcodes and no mention of free eyes tests

Just booked a test in Birmingham for tomorrow and hasn't been mentioned about the cost.

£15 at M&S at the moment and as others have pointed out, fantastic service was there an hour being tested in every way possible, very happy, normally £30.
    Swahmad's avatar
How have you gotten it for £15? In seeing the price online and it's normally £40 and found a 50% off voucher

I clicked on the store details for my local branch side found a voucher. Downside with this voucher is you can't just have the test...50945805-VPRUx.jpg

Does anyone know if it’s supposed to be an essential part of an eye test to check on someone’s close vision? I’m short-sighted so usually reading isn’t a problem but I’m starting to think I might need varifocals. I only had a test in June (and new glasses) but I’m 100% sure they didn’t have me do the reading thing with the card this time.

£10 for the test, and £10 for the 3d scan.

    Is it worth it?
