At £91.25 fitted this is a great price, in addition to this you can buy 2 and get 10% off on top; or buy 4 and get an extra 20% off which makes this a very good deal.

I also had a look at the 245/45/17 for people with staged set up and it's an extra £10 per tyre.

Ultra-High Performance for wet & dry roads. Ready for Anything.

Just about to order and code isn't working.

Stupid timer at top of page says there's over 4hrs left! (edited)

The website says valid to the 11th, the timer is just HOTUKD, unfortunately it seems they have also removed the banner from the website. I would send F1 an Email pronto saying the deal sad ends on the 11th and they should uphold the offer.

For reference you could send them a screen capture of this. (edited)

Unbelievable tyres.. currently on my 330d X drive. Like glue in the wet. Great rim protection as well.

Exactly this. I had previously used ContiSport Contact for 10+yrs & so was dubious about the switch, as they were great in the wet, but no concerns. And the lip to protect your rims should be standard on all tyres! And for those who want a higher performance tyre they so a SuperSport version of the F1 (it came fitted on my Octavia vRS)

Anyone know if there standard fitting included TPMS? Or is this extra?
    HaraldBB's avatar
Nothing to do with TPMS - if you had one, will stay, if not then...

Sorry to gatecrash but I've not had to buy tyres before.

Any recommendations for two 225/55 R18 for my Peugeot 3008. Or even a good company to use? Thanks

I've used Black Circles before, it was reasonable price and good experience.

Are these prone to aquaplaning?? I had some P1s which nearly caused me to veer into the central reservation..

Well the are A class rated in the rain and tyre reviews say they're super in the wet, infact I've seen tests where the F1 Ace 6 actually beat the Michelin Pilot Sport 4s which is a UUHP tyre.

Is the £3 extra precision wheel balance a con?
    Little_Casper's avatar
    Author
It's just a different tool they use to fit the wheel to the machine, it goes through the lugs like on your car as apposed to the middle centre hole. when doing the balancing test.

Why don't I see any offers on R18 tyres? 225/45R18 is what I've got and almost always are priced over £150 per tyre
    Little_Casper's avatar

That's just what they are Unfortunately, tyres are a weird thing they fluctuate so much in price it's insane.

Anyone else getting 'Your appointment has timed out please select a new slot.' When trying to book?

My car needs 2 new fronts. The current tyres are V rated but I think that car was originally with W rated.
Can I fit these Y rated without problems and would they wear quicker. I prefer comfort/safety over performance.
    Little_Casper's avatar
    Author
The V rating and W rating are just speed ratings, You'd have to compare the different sizes and what the specific fuel economy rating is for the specific tyres you're fitting. It's a bit like sound levels, the same tyre in different sizes can be vastly different.

Fantastic deal paid £65.00 more than this 6 weeks ago at National Tyre and Autocare. These tyres have built in rim protection and the level of grip is astonishing. Only have 6mm of tread depth from new, however i dont know exactly how this will impact tyre longeavity as my tyres are still fairly new.
