    I've priced the fights and hotel up separately without going via lastminute.com, and it costs roughly £100 less.
    Wizzair flight LTN to IST = £44.99 pp, even less if you're a member of Wizzair Discount Club.
    BA flight IST to LHW = £52.75 pp
    Rhythm Hotel basement room = £96 for 4 nights on Expedia (flexible, book now and pay later).
    Total cost = £291.48
    Saving £100+

    We had a terrible experience in Turkey involving our friend's young daughter. Can't go into details here but would never visit that country again - it's not what you're led to believe at all.

    I just came from Istanbul and the prices are up 2× and even 3× in dollar/sterling terms. It's becoming too expensive to holiday in Turkey.

    Same, I had an amazing time there and really loved seeing all the historical landmarks and palaces. So much history there, Ottoman, Byzantine AND Ancient Roman!

    I mean it's cheap.. Suppose you could book this and not go to the hotel and simply book your own? Won't be that much more

    BA baggage allowance is more generous than Wizzair. May as well add a 2nd bag on the outward flight because it costs nothing extra to bring it back.
