I'm also looking at the Renpho Scales which seem to be half the price for the exact same functionality (measurements etc), or am I missing something extra that this one has? amazon.co.uk/REN…h=1

I have Renpho and had eufy in the past. save your money and get Renpho (don’t bother with wifi one though). The way I look at it, none of them are accurate but they show trends well which is what’s key

You don't need to spend this much on smart scales, all they do is track your weight and guess the rest of your stats based on your height.

At a push they can give you fat analysis of your legs and lower abdominal area because that's where the electric current passes when standing on the two electrodes.

Search Amazon for healthkeep scales, does exactly the same for £15.99 it's what I have used for the past three years.

    I can beat that.. £19.87 in 2019

Is there any difference between the two models?

How can it possibly tell you all these things when it just weighs you? surely can’t be accurate and just guesstimating

The same as a Doctor could? But obviously not as accurately.

"Some users have experienced inaccuracies in weight measurements and body fat percentage readings with eufy Smart Scales. It is recommended to calibrate the scale properly and follow the instructions provided by eufy customer support if you encounter any inaccuracies."

"in order to get accurate and personalized results, you may need to provide some dietary information to the eufy Smart Scale app. The app may ask for details such as age, gender, height, and activity level to calculate metrics like body fat percentage, BMI, and muscle mass. This information helps the app provide more accurate and tailored measurements and recommendations based on your specific profile."

I also have the cheaper and older spec of this, purchased end of 2020 for £24. Absolute gamechanger when it comes to scales, and I regret not upgrading to a smart scale before this. I used to manually write each weight on my phone, and most often of the time just tried to remember it - which meant very inconsistent tracking.

Although since lockdown, I'm very overweight (put back whatever I lost in the last 2 years) but weighing myself in the morning without miss has become a habit to me. It's great with a smart scale, because I've been able to track and trend my weight increase and decreases over the years.

I only use it for weight tracking only, as body comp is inaccurate.

I won this on Eufys spin to win offer they had, very pleased with it and easy to set up.

Worth noting there’s no St Lb option which is fairly standard in the UK.

Showing your age. Grams/Kilograms has been standardised weight for years now, and also the only thing taught in schools for decades.
