Stayed here last March, landlady rather eccentric but nice traditional hotel / BnB, good value - we found plenty to do - jail, courthouse, Penrhyn castle. Weather wasn't good but still enjoyed x

I go to Beaumaris often Bishopsgate is very good for food but I normally stay at Mount Pleasant Apartments so I can self cater for breakfast and lunch.

Says you can book a well behaved dog in advance for £10/night but checkout does not give you the option?

Although Llanddwyn (the beach featured on the page) is on the opposite side of the island, but all manageable. You can visit Penmon (which is much closer) has a lighthouse, shingle beach and views towards Puffin Island, and about 10min drive from Beaumaris. Red Boat ice cream parlour in Beaumaris is great too.

Anglesey is good in the summer but there isn’t much to do or see when the weather changes from October onwards, Beaumaris is a very expensive area compared to the rest of Anglesey
