sorted byThis is my first smartwatch, so £100 seems like the right price to dip toes in and discover what i like, dont, etc.
Am a little surprised by the lack of heat for this deal...
Maybe people dont know that the core watch itself is essentially the Fossil gen 6?
Also, before i bought i read a few reviews, YouTube etc.... the watch got fairly bad press on launch due to having WearOS 2. It's now WearOS 3, though i cant find any more details.
Anyway... £100 for a genuine Smart Watch with Wear OS 3, thanks very much.
Yes, I was expecting more heat for the same reasons you've mentioned.

I got my watch as expected, and initially fairly happy with it, certainly for the money.
Does heartrate, running tracking with GPS, is "swimproof" (listed on the website), and does sleep tracking. It is also somewhat fashionable and uses recycled materials, so initial observations were positive.
I was prepared that it wouldn't have great battery, and was ready for daily recharges. However, since it was new and I liked playing with it, I initially had to charge twice per day until I learned to stop touching it. Recharging is only via the proprietary charging cable, not generic QI chargers.
The interface (WearOS3) isn't great, and is either buggy or poorly optimised on this device. Either way, I'd frequently try to open something like whatsapp, wait for 5 seconds, the watch would return to the main watch face, id then try to open again, and 2nd or 3rd time it'd open correctly. Similar with other apps. It doesn't do much when not connected to the phone (technically it does connect to wifi, but i couldn't see how to observe when it was using wifi and when bluetooth). Getting less happy with it.
Took it swimming on holiday in a swimming pool, the only 'outdoor' activity it tracks is running, so it measured my swimming as 'steps' The smartwatch is "swimproof" but doesnt measure swimming?
Finally, a few days after swimming a couple of times, the watch face firstly went green, then fully off. Seems to have died.
Currently started the returns process. (edited)
