50p cheaper than tesco - hot. Tesco still wins if you have clubcard plus (£12.60).

Here we go again! Another rice deal where every comment seems to be how bad it is and recommending something else.

Is there actually any rice that anyone likes?

At this point I’d be better off flooding my garden and growing my own.

Personally opinion: this ain’t a good Basmati rice. It gets too sticky. And flavour is bland.

Daawat. It’s not on offer. But one you try this, you will never go back. It’s aromatic and flavour packed when cooked with spices.

You can get now a 10kg of Tilda basmati rice in Costco for £19. Why to spend £26 for Daawat?!

I don't know why rice has this effect, so many comments!
laila is a decent budget rice better than Salaam which is in the same group
baadsha and a couple of others middle tier
tilda royal etc in the higher tier
    zebra in the highest tier
and the price and occasional offers reflect the list order

Do Asda change price by region? I have been to my local today and everything scanned at full price.
Will try on the weekend, prices should be updated by then.

I once went to the shop and asked for the best rice to buy. ‘I can’t help you with this, mate.’ He said. ‘Why not?’ I asked. Because rice is just like people. They are all different.
