Washing machine - who do you recommend buying from?

Hi my washing machine has packed up.
I normally buy things from amazon as great customer service.
There's a currys near my work but their customer service is awful!
John Lewis supposed to be great.
Never used AO

Any tips for good or bad?
I'd like a set day installation so I can be off work for it. And them to take it away. Amazon said £50 installation and take away but not sure how to get the set day so will try their customer service later.

Currys would be 'easy' but always is until a problem

Thanks!

I always check out the ones with a good warranty , like John Lewis, then you know you'll get a couple of years worry free. I have also learned to go for one with a large drum , ours is 10Kg load . This not only allows for a better wash as the clothes have more room to move around but also spins better. Our current 1400 spin gives much better results than our previous 1600(7Kg).

Costco, installation and taking away old equipment is an option plus great customer service (edited)

Think we got ours from AO. Their service was excellent. Came in and installed it in an awkward position without any problems and took the old one away. Would recommend them.

AO or take a look at their outlet store (Elek Direct) as you can often get good deals.

You can also ask AO to price match if you see something you want for example at John Lewis or Currys (edited)

Your local Euronics - I always assumed they were expensive/poor quality etc.. i just bought a new Bosch washer on Friday - 520 quid including delivery (it came yesterday, sometime they even manage same day delivery), connection, disposal of old machine and checking the new one works/ doesnt leak etc. The guys were fantastic, really nice and respectful of me + the house - one even asked if he could wash his hands. Was so very impressed, will def go to them again for white goods in the future.

I got my washing machine from AO via ebay when they had one of their discount codes on the go. The washing machine (new) worked out cheaper on ebay than from AO.com directly as they don't up their prices on discount days unlike some retailers.

Washing machine was delivered within a couple of days.

I managed to disconnect my old one and plumb in my new one myself and local scrap guy took away my old one for nothing.

AO text me on the day of delivery just after 6am and it was delivered about 1.5 hours later so in my case not much notice of delivery but delivery guys were briliant and also phoned to say they were on their way and could very well have changed delivery at this point, but was happy enough and delivery guys were briliant.

Thanks all. I found a good deal at Amazon and selected a Saturday 7 til 7 for installation and removal of old appliance for £50. (edited)

Hopefully they will text a delivery time rather than a 12 hour window of waiting! No idea about Amazon installations as I use Euronics.
