Ford fiesta 2011

Afternoon all

Having a couple of problems with my car … the horn has stopped working and so have the hazards yet my indicators work fine

does anyone know where the fuse is for the horn I have looked in the engine area with the other switches and they don’t match up to my manual

thanks 🙏

Google it there's plenty of websites that explain in detail all about the fuse boxes on each specific model of cars.

The hazard lights don't have a fuse, they're managed by the GEM/BCM. It's most likely the hazard light switch itself that's faulty.

The horn fuse is likely located in the fuse box under the bonnet.

There is another fuse box that's located behind the glovebox. Press the sides in and pull down to reveal it.

    Check all the fuses etc

If all the fuses are ok then it could be a faulty horn, clock spring or the wiring etc.

Someone with forscan could potentially point you in the right direction as it'll likely have fault codes stored etc.

Agreed, its a very very common problem with the ford fiesta hazard warning light switch to break (and then fail the MOT) - get one of ebay, and I am sure there will be youtube video on replacing it

You probably have more than one fuse box try looking behind the glove box if it's there look at fuse 5 (15 amp IIRC) to see if it's blown. Don't worry that it doesn't show as horn or hazards in the manual as the fuse is shared with other items. (edited)

So I changed the horn fuse all good there so just need to change the hazard switch how much should that cost at a garage ? I also need to change my oil filter but after watching a YouTube video looks easy enough

It's not a particularly hard job, could try to do it yourself. Here's a video

Oil filter and change is pretty simple and if you can do it yourself then you'll save hundreds over the next few years etc.
