Screwdriver with hex bit attachment

My inner DIY is calling so I’m looking for a decent screwdriver with either a long shaft or an extension piece that accepts hex bits.

Not looking for something uber expensive but then again not too cheap. I’ve seen a Rolson screwdriver with 3 bits in my local Morrisons but the handle looks bulbous as the bits stored inside it.

Bahco rachet screwdriver and then then buy whatever bits you want. Think it has 5/6 in the handle but it's not huge. One the best screwdrivers I've got.

Echo this. Cheaper ratchet screwdrivers are not great for ergonomics and the fact that the mechanism keeps resetting to neutral/unwinding itself. I've got a bacho one and its been fab, even has a place to store bits in the handle

This is the one I have think I paid £10 or so (edited)

You mentioned a long shaft or extension piece, I'm guessing that is to get somewhere deep? May I recommend long bits rather than a long shaft, something like this amazon.co.uk/gp/…CE8. I was in a similar situation and I found the bit holder itself was the issue, if I'm screwing something that is in a hole the bit holder stopped it working. At least using long bits they're only as wide as the head, so it's easier to work with them.

Of course, if your reason for a longer driver isn't due to where the screws are located, then the above is probably a bit redundant.

Don't buy Rolson tools full stop the bits are made from soft metal and round off and damage screws and the ratcheting screwdriver will usually slip and break, buy cheap buy twice.
